    摘要: A tap has an input, an output, and first and second tap outputs. A first transmission line extends between the input and the output and includes a low-pass filter. A second transmission line extends between the input and a switch, and includes a directional coupler and a first high-pass filter. An AC/DC converter is coupled to the first transmission line to operate the switch between open and closed conditions, in response to existence and absence of power in the first transmission line, respectively. In the open condition of the switch, the second transmission line is coupled to a resistor and a ground. In the closed condition of the switch, the second transmission line is coupled to a second high-pass filter and the output. A splitter is coupled between the directional coupler and the first and second tap outputs.

The connector further includes a compression band in the sidewall, wherein the compression band has a thinned portion of the sidewall and also annular first and second ridges flanking the thinned portion. The connector also includes an inner post extending through the body and a coupling nut carried on the inner post.     摘要: A coaxial cable connector includes an outer barrel having a longitudinal axis, the outer barrel formed with an inner compression band. A coaxial fitting is mounted at a front end of the outer barrel for coupling to an electrical device, and a coaxial compression collar is applied to the outer barrel. An outer compression band formed in the compression collar moves between an uncompressed condition and a compressed condition in response to axial compression of the coaxial cable connector. Movement of the outer compression band from the uncompressed condition to the compressed condition shapes the inner compressed into a pawl which allows introduction of a cable into the connector and then prevents removal of the cable from the connector.

    摘要: A male coaxial connector of the present invention comprises a conductive insert and a coupling nut. The conductive insert has a front end with an annular flange. The coupling nut includes an inner surface defining a bore, wherein the bore at least partially surrounds the conductive insert and is configured to receive a provided female coaxial connector. The coupling nut further includes a locking member extending from its inner surface. The male connector further comprises a torque washer formed from fiber-reinforced rubber and disposed between the flange of the conductive insert and the locking member. When the coupling nut engages a female coaxial connector, the locking member and the torque washer are compressed against the flange of the insert. The compressed locking member and the compressed torque washer each maintain a tension force between the male and female connectors to help prevent separation of the male and female connectors. The male coaxial connector can be configured to be coupled to an end of the coaxial cable by, for example, crimping or compression.
