    摘要: A cabinet for housing electronic plug-in cards has front and rear card baskets for inserting plug-in cards and first and second vertical backplanes. The front side of the first backplane faces the front of the cabinet and the front side of the second backplane faces the back of the cabinet. A distance piece connects the two backplanes and a counterbore is disposed in at least one of the rear sides of the two backplanes. The depth of the counterbore or the residual thicknesses of the backplane after drilling the counterbore is sized such that the distance between the front side of the second backplane and the front of the cabinet is a predetermined value. This ensures that the plug-in cards pushed onto the second backplane are completely received inside the rear card basket and the front plate of the plug-in cards ends flush with the rear card basket.

    摘要: A rack for electronic plug-in boards has board cages on the front and rear sides and at least one vertical backplane arranged between the board cages. The rack has an installation space provided underneath or above the board cages and into which fan modules can be horizontally inserted from the front side. A power supply module with an electronics unit supplies power to the backplane. The installation space continuously extends up to the region of the board cage on the rear side. The electronics unit is arranged in the region of the rear side of the rack underneath or above the board cage and defines the installation space toward the rear. The electronics unit is connected to the backplane by rigid electric conductors horizontally extending between the board cage on the rear side and the installation space parallel and at a distance from one another.

    摘要: A heat transferring device comprises two massive thermally conductive bodies arranged vertically on top of one another and spaced apart by a variable distance. One or more spreading elements are positioned between the thermally conductive bodies and respectively comprise two horizontally movable wedges with wedge tips pointing in opposite directions and a spring pressing apart the wedges. The thermally conductive bodies have corresponding sliding surfaces extending parallel to the wedge surfaces. Motion of the wedges in the horizontal direction is converted into vertical motion of the thermally conductive bodies to thereby automatically adapt the height of the entire device to a respective installation situation.

    摘要: A housing for electrical devices is composed of four sheet metal parts, namely a base part, two side parts and a lid. The base part is bent in a U-shape and has a rectangular bottom plate with two opposing connecting edges. Each of the side parts has a lower connecting edge and can be placed laterally against the base part. The lid has a connecting edge and an opposing edge that is folded over. Connecting links and mounting tabs offset inwardly in a Z-shape are arranged on the connecting edges. The mounting tabs engage partially in cutouts of the connecting links, thus forming a hinge-like positive connection of two adjacent housing parts.

    摘要: A device for retaining a printed circuit board module in a mounting groove of a cold plate, the device comprising an elongated housing made of metal, which has a cross-section in the shape of a horizontal U. A pressure piece made of metal is mounted in the housing so as to be displaceable transversely relative to the rotational axis of the housing and comprises a flat clamping surface on the front side. A rotary cylinder can be rotatably mounted in the housing so as to be transversely displaceable relative to the rotational axis. During a rotation, eccentric guide elements can be used to effect a forward displacement of the rotary cylinder. The pressure piece follows the displacement of the rotary cylinder and slides outward. The waste heat of the printed circuit board module is transported via the housing and the pressure piece to the cold plate.

    摘要: An arrangement for protecting against incorrect plugging of plug-in modules on the front side and rear side of a backplane comprises pairs of guide pin elements with guide pins pointing in opposite directions that extent along a common longitudinal axis perpendicular to the backplane. The guide pin elements engage positively in corresponding guide receptacles of the plug-in modules when they are plugged on in the correct orientation relative to the guide pins. The arrangement comprises means for non-rotatably mounting the guide pin elements on the front side and rear side of the backplane in a predetermined angular position. The two guide pin elements are identical. Arranged between the guide pin elements is a central connecting member that can be inserted in a non-rotatable manner into an attachment hole of the backplane. The connecting member has two molded sections that point in opposite directions and engage positively in commensurately embodied recesses, thus establishing the angular position of the guide pins relative to the backplane.
