Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for charging a battery are disclosed. The apparatus includes a LED member that includes a single LED that is suitable for emitting light of different colours, each colour corresponding to a different operating status of the apparatus, and an acoustic signalling device that is suitable for emitting an acoustic signal indicating a malfunction of the apparatus or the battery. The method includes a first battery heating and desulphation step during which the battery is supplied with current pulses having a maximum value that is considerably lower than the maximum value of the charging current in a subsequent second constant current charging step, each current pulse being generated when the current absorbed by the battery after the delivery of a previous current pulse falls below a minimum preset value.
Abstract:
A container for sealant liquid to repair an inflatable article, preferably pneumatic, comprises a shell defining an inner volume for a sealant liquid, an inlet port for introduction of a gas under pressure into the inner volume, an outlet port for injection of the sealant liquid after pressurisation of the inlet port and a flexible tube connected to the outlet port. The container also comprises a case detachable from the shell and surrounding the flexible tube when it is connected to the shell.
Abstract:
A kit for repairing and inflating inflatable articles has a compressor assembly; a sealing fluid container assembly defining an inlet connectable to the compressor assembly, and an outlet connecting the container assembly fluidically to an inflatable article; a casing at least partly housing the compressor assembly; a supporting member fixed with respect to the casing; and click-on connecting means for connecting the container assembly to the supporting member. More specifically, the click-on connecting means define a conduit for fluidically connecting the container assembly and compressor assembly.
Abstract:
A kit for inflating and repairing inflatable articles, in particular tires, the kit having a compressor assembly, a container of sealing liquid and connectors for connecting the container to the compressor assembly and to an inflatable article for repair or inflation; the compressor assembly being housed in an outer casing defining a seat for the container of sealing liquid. The container is housed removably in the seat and functionally connected to the compressor assembly so as to form a compact unit ready for use.
Abstract:
A kit for repairing and inflating inflatable items comprises a housing, a compressor assembly housed within the housing, a connecting device having an inlet connected to the compressor assembly and a seat adapted to be fluidically connected to a container assembly for a sealing liquid and to the inlet, a valve configured to be opened automatically when the container assembly is connected to the connection device and elastically maintained in a first position such as to fluidically disconnect the inlet from the seat when the container assembly is disconnected from the connecting device, and a flexible tube fluidically connected to the compressor assembly. In particular, the connecting device comprises an outlet fluidically connected to the valve so as to be fluidically connected to the inlet when the valve is in the first position, and in that the flexible tube is connected to the outlet.
Abstract:
A kit for repairing and inflating inflatable articles, and having a compressor assembly for generating compressed air; releasable connecting means fixed with respect to the compressor assembly and for connecting the compressor assembly mechanically and fluidically to a sealing liquid container assembly; a first pipe connecting the compressor assembly to the container assembly; a second pipe parallel to the first pipe with respect to the compressor assembly; and a valve interposed between the compressor assembly and the first and second pipe. The valve defines a cavity bounded by a conical surface; a rotary distribution member cooperating in fluidtight manner with the conical surface; an inlet connected to the compressor assembly; a first outlet connected to the first pipe; and a second outlet connected to the second pipe.
