The containers can be hermetically sealed without the utilization of linear sealing and capping. The container comprises a body portion and a lid portion operatively connected to the container portion with, for example, a living hinge. The container also comprises a gasket comprising built in compression and a positive lock, wherein the gasket and the positive lock operate in conjunction to produce an audible sound when the lid portion is engaged with the body portion. The gasket can be formed integral to the lid portion or the body portion, wherein the built in compression facilitates compression of the gasket to flip the positive lock into a secure position when the lid portion is engaged with the body portion.

The liner also comprises a plurality of perforations that penetrate at least one layer of the liner, wherein the plurality of perforations are configured to provide easier removal of the liner to access contents of the container. The plurality of perforation are formed with a rotary die cutter. A sealable container assembly comprises the container, the liner, and the closure.

摘要： An injection-molded plastic dispensing cap providing a semicircular spoon opening through which spoonfuls of the contents of an associated container can be removed. The cap provides a hinged flap for closing the opening which is hinged to the body and movable between an open position and a closed position. The cap provides an inwardly extending lip along the periphery of the opening. A rib is formed on the flap to closely fit the lip along the opening when the flap is in the closed position. Projecting from the rib is a latch projection fitting under the lip to secure the flap in the closed position. The lip is provided with a central recess bridged by the latch projection. The lip and the latch cooperate to provide spaced and opposed latching portions which are relatively insensitive to variations in the torque applying the cap to an associated container and which are not adversely affected by removal of the cap from its mold while the cap is still relatively hot.

摘要： A tamper-evident dispenser end closure including an imperforate hermetically sealed base and a rotor pivotally connected to the base by a snap-fit between a female pocket formed in the base and an annular male protrusion formed in the rotor. The protrusion contains an opening for visual detection of tampering with the pocket of the base. The base and rotor are retained in a close superposed relationship by the snap-fit pocket and protrusion. Frangible means are provided which tear or break when an attempt is made to separate the base from the rotor thereby evidencing tampering with the rotor. The base and rotor have webs provided with means defining respective dispensing apertures.

摘要： An end closure cap for a tape sealed assembly with a cylindrical shell. The closure cap is characterized by a deep dish construction having a high degree of dimensional adaptability making it particularly suited for use with composite shells manufactured with relatively wide dimensional tolerances. The cap includes flared and beveled surfaces which make it self-aligning to the shell and elements which, until completion of the application of a sealing shrink tape, allow escape of air from the shell to facilitate high speed automatic closing of the assembly.
