Abstract: A connection assembly includes first and second components joinable along an axis of relative movement, starting from a separated disassembled state, into an interconnected assembled state, and transferable back into the disassembled state. The first component has a latching element and the second component has a latching element receptacle which cooperates with latching portions of the latching element in the assembled state. The latching portions are offset relative to each other when viewed in a circumferential direction, and are each movable along a movement path starting from a non-deformed rest state. A first portion of the movement path points in a disassembly direction, and a second portion of the movement path points in an assembly direction opposite the disassembly direction. The first portion of the movement path is limited by a stop against which the latching element rests in a course of disassembling the components.

Abstract: A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case which is closed at one end and open at the other end. A cap is connected to the case by a hinge to permit selectable movement of the cap between an open position, wherein access is provided to the open end of the case, and a closed position, wherein the cap prevents access to the open end of the case. A seal is connected to one of the cap and case. The seal is engageable with the other of the cap and case when the cap is closed to form a barrier that maintains a sterile environment inside the package. The seal can be repeatedly made and broken whenever the user closes or opens the cap, respectively. One of the case and cap has a latch and the other has a receptacle for receiving the latch to releasably retain the cap in a closed position. The latches fit into the receptacle to prevent lateral forces from distorting the cap when the cap is closed. A locking slide may be used to lock the cap to the case.

Abstract: An insulating container may include an opening, which can be sealed by a closure. The closure may have an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.

Abstract: A cover operates with a bistable snap-fit mechanism for positioning on a closable opening of a container or on another element to be closed by the cover. The cover and/or a container wall region has fitted thereon a tamper-evident sealing element to be removed when opening the container for the first time, which, prior to being removed, blocks deformation of the front wall necessary for changeover between the two bistable states and/or prevents an expansion portion necessary for the snap-fit mechanism, from bringing about alteration to the outer circumference of the cover necessary for deformation of the front wall of the cover between the two bistable states. As an alternative, or in addition, it is also possible for a handle member, necessary for pulling off the cover, to be configured such that it can only be used once the tamper-evident sealing has been successfully removed.

Abstract: A leak-proof, interlocking, stackable travel container assembly has a sealing plug and a plurality of travel containers. The sealing plug is designed to create an airtight seal when positioned within an opening. In order to do so, the sealing plug has a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring and a lip. Each of the plurality of travel containers has a neck portion, an opening, a body portion and a base portion. The opening perpendicularly traverses into the neck portion allowing an user to place and remove items within the travel container. When required, the sealing plug is placed within the opening. Next, a protective cap is used to surround the sealing plug. If multiple travel containers are to be used, a base interlocking mechanism and a neck interlocking mechanism are used for interlocking each of the plurality of travel containers.
