    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of image forming units configured to form images, an image bearing member, a detection unit configured to detect a pattern image formed on the image bearing member, the pattern image being used for detecting a color misregistration, a controller configured to control the plurality of image forming units to form a plurality of first pattern images, each having a different color, and control the detection unit to detect the color misregistration, and a storage unit configured to store data on the color misregistration, wherein the controller corrects an image forming position based on the stored data, and wherein in a case where an error is detected in the data, the controller controls the plurality of image forming units to form a plurality of second pattern images, different form the plurality of first pattern images, before the plurality of first pattern images is formed.

    摘要: A liquid ejection head includes a substrate including an energy generating element configured to generate energy used for ejecting a liquid, a flow channel member overlying the substrate and defining a flow channel through which a liquid is supplied, and an ejection opening member overlying the flow channel member and defining an ejection opening through which the liquid supplied through the flow channel is ejected by the energy from the energy generating element. The flow channel member contains a crosslinked cured product of a multifunctional epoxy resin and a polyhydric alcohol having a perfluoroalkyl group in the molecular structure, and the concentration of a component derived from the polyhydric alcohol in the flow channel member is lower on the side adjacent to the substrate than on the side adjacent to the ejection opening member.

In the case where, during the movie recording, still image shooting is instructed, focus control for the still image shooting is implemented, based on the second AF area instead of the first AF area.
