    摘要: A leg attachment assembly for a stilt device of the type used to support a user above a base surface. The leg attachment assembly has a curvilinearly extending leg band configured to partially surround an upper leg portion of a user's leg. The leg band is attached to a distal end of a support pole using a pair of spacers and associated fasteners. One or more strengthening ribs extend in a lateral direction between contact locations of the spacers. The strengthening ribs extend beyond the spacers to enhance rigidity of the leg band during use. A securement strap can be used to encircle the user's leg and the leg band to attach the stilt to the leg. The strap can be routed between the spacers and over the top surfaces of the strengthening ribs so that, when the strap is tensioned, the ribs prevent slippage or displacement of the strap.

    摘要: Method and apparatus for generating green electrical power. During a hydrogen gas storage mode, an electrolyzer generates a stream of hydrogen gas from water supplied by a water source and using power from an input power source. A hydrogen tank temporarily stores the stream of hydrogen. During a power generation mode, a fuel cell converts the stream of hydrogen gas from the tank into output electrical power by combining the hydrogen with oxygen. An inverter conditions and supplies the electrical power to a local load. A controller circuit uses a system parameter to adaptively switch between the storage mode and the power generation mode. In some cases, external power is supplied during the generation and storage of the hydrogen gas from an electrical grid or a local renewable source such as a set of solar panels. Respective grid-tied, solar-tied, grid-only, off-grid, and electric vehicle charging configurations are provided.

    摘要: A lifting and support apparatus having a fully lowered position, a fully extended position and many transitional positions. The lifting and support apparatus includes a base portion with a first leg, a second leg, a third leg and a fourth leg hingedly attached thereto and extending therefrom. The apparatus can also include a first lateral support element that the first and second legs are extending toward and hingedly connected to and a second lateral support element that the third and fourth legs are extending toward and hingedly connected to. The apparatus further includes a lift support portion that has a fifth leg, a sixth leg, a seventh leg and an eighth leg hingedly connected thereto and extending therefrom, the fifth and sixth legs extending to and hingedly connected to the first lateral support element and the seventh and eighth legs extending to and hingedly connected to the second lateral support element. In addition, the apparatus has a drive apparatus and threaded shaft for forcing the first lateral support element and the second lateral support element toward and away from each other, which raises and lowers the lift support portion of the lifting apparatus relative to the base portion. A method of raising or supporting an object with a lifting and support apparatus. The method includes placing the lifting and support apparatus in a desired position relative to the object to be raised and supported. The method also includes actuating the lifting and support apparatus to raise the object to a desired height.
