摘要： Disclosed are systems and methods for automatic control of gain in audio and video conferencing applications to maintain a predetermined and stable audio level. In one embodiment, a first stage applies a first stage gain based on a long-term estimate of signal level, while a second stage gain, based on a short-term estimate of signal level assists the first stage gain to achieve a target level. Some embodiments of long-term level estimation utilize statistical analysis of a buffer to validate or arrive at a more accurate long-term signal level estimate.

摘要： Devices and methods for providing neurostimulation to a patient, particularly in trial systems assessing suitability of a permanently implanted neurostimulation, are provided herein. In one aspect, a trial neurostimulation lead includes a coiled conductor coupled to a proximal contact connector having a retention flange that withstands tensile force from tension in the lead so as to maintain the electrical connection during a trial period. In another aspect, a trial neurostimulation system includes a lead extension that includes a regression stopper between the implanted distal connector and proximal lead disposed outside the body to prevent regression of the lead through a secondary incision, thereby preventing infection and facilitating explant of the system. Methods of assembling and utilizing such leads and systems are detailed herein.

摘要： Systems, devices, and methods of the present invention are related to determining a document classification. For example, a document classification application generates a set of discourse trees, each discourse tree corresponding to a sentence of a document and including a rhetorical relationship that relates two elementary discourse units. The document classification application creates one or more communicative discourse trees from the discourse trees by matching each elementary discourse unit in a discourse tree that has a verb to a verb signature. The document classification application combines the first communicative discourse tree and the second communicative discourse tree into a parse thicket and applies a classification model to the parse thicket in order to determine whether the document is public or private.

The first BTS may be operable to provide a first signal including a plurality of first carriers.
