Abstract: Medical devices and systems for treating a stricture along the biliary and/or pancreatic tract are disclosed. An example medical device may include a guidewire for use along the biliary and/or pancreatic tract. The guidewire may include an elongate core member having a proximal end region and a distal end region. A coil member may be disposed along the distal end region. An actuation member may be coupled to the coil member. The actuation member may be configured to shift the coil member between a first configuration and a compressed configuration. The coil member may be configured to be advanced across a biliary and/or pancreatic stricture when in the compressed configuration. A sleeve may be disposed over the coil member.

An example tissue engagement device includes a first actuation member including a body coupled to a first jaw and a second jaw at a pivot point, wherein the body is designed to shift between a first configuration and a first compressed configuration and a second actuation member coupled to the first actuation member at the pivot point and at a fixation point, wherein the second actuation member is designed to shift between a second configuration and a second compressed configuration. Further, shifting the first actuation member from the first configuration to the first compressed configuration, shifting the second actuation member from the second configuration to the second compressed configuration, or both, shifts the first jaw and the second jaw between a closed configuration and an open configuration.

Abstract: A delivery device for transtendinous implantation of a toggle-type suture anchor into bone is disclosed. The device includes a proximal housing having an outer tubular shaft extending distally with a lumen therethrough. An anchor delivery tube extends through the lumen of the outer tubular shaft having a proximal end affixed to the proximal housing. The anchor delivery tube includes a nub portion that is used to insert through the tendon and partly into bone to maintain registration with a bone hole into which an anchor is placed. A bone punch assembly extends through the lumen of the anchor delivery tube and the nub portion with a pointed distal end. When the bone punch is fully inserted, the pointed distal end extends a distance distal of the distal end of the nub portion.

Abstract: A tool for providing a visualization of a system may reveal an interactive navigation environment for building performance observation and assessment. The tool may be associated with a processor. The environment may incorporate a treemap, a graph pane, a treemap filter, a graph pane selector, a selected units box and a date/time control mechanism. A visualization of the environment, among other things, may be presented on a display. The treemap may exhibit a building geometry and/or equipment units hierarchically, along with some data information. Units may be interactively selected from the treemap and placed in the box for analysis. The graph pane may show a configuration and display of unit analysis. Selection of detailed views for units in the box may be provided by the graph pane selector. Date and time intervals for analysis may be selected by the control mechanism.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for transtendinous implantation of a toggle-type bone anchor. Measured from the top surface of the tendon, the entire bone anchor is inserted to a depth of greater than or equal to 20 mm. during a rotator cuff repair on the humeral head. The anchor is pushed by the same bone punch that formed the initial hole to assure proper depth of placement. Further, the apparatus includes a nub portion that, in use, protrudes into the bone hole formed by the bone punch and maintains registration with the bone hole when the bone punch is retracted. An angled distal end on the anchor initiates toggling during insertion into the bone and at least one proximal projecting fin prevents the anchor from backing out of the bone hole while facilitating further rotation of the anchor when a suture is pulled to complete toggling.

The combined pump/heat exchanger device includes a housing having at least one inlet and at least one outlet, a pump portion defining a blood circuit inside the housing, and a heat exchanger portion contained within the housing for selectively heating or cooling the blood.
