摘要: Disclosed herein are methods for treating estrogen sensitive disease, specifically toward endometrial cancers, and compositions used to treat the estrogen sensitive disease. Methods for treating estrogen sensitive diseases comprise administering to a patient an effective amount of a cannabis extract in the presence of an elevated level of estrogen wherein the estrogen is endogenous estrogen or further comprises exogenous estrogen and wherein the methods may further comprise the addition of a chemotherapeutic agent.

摘要: A sensor device for detecting static modulus of elasticity in situ comprising: top and bottom frame end plates, said top and bottom frame end plates connected by at least two frame side bars; a dry cavity connected to said top frame end plate comprising a piston, precompression mechanism, and piston transfer plate; a displacement measurement gauge extending from said dry cavity along a longitudinal axis of said sensor device having a first end in contact with said piston transfer plate and a second end in contact with a bottom inner face of said bottom frame end plate; and a top inner face connected to said piston transfer plate, wherein a portion of elastomeric material is positioned on said bottom and top inner faces, said elastomeric material positioned to prevent contact with either bottom or top inner faces except for a portion along the longitudinal axis of the displacement measurement gauge.

The encoded tag is positioned to identify a point of interest, and in response to using the mobile device to scan the encoded tag, communications regarding the point of interest may be initiated. A single encoded tag may be used to obtain and update recorded information about the point of interest, to notify others about an issue related to the point of interest, to log into the system, and to wait to be alerted about an issue related to the point of interest. If an issue relating to a point of interest has been reported, the system and method may monitor the reported issue to ensure that an action has been taken to address the reported issue.

摘要: A method for measuring sound from vortices in the carotid artery comprising: a first and second quality control provisions, wherein the quality control compares detected sounds to pre-determined sounds, and upon confirmation of the quality control procedures, detecting sounds generated by the heart and sounds from vortices in the carotid artery for at least 30 seconds. A method for determining stenosis of the carotid artery in a human patient consisting of a first step of placing a sensing device comprising an array and three sensing elements onto the patient, wherein a first sensing element is placed near the heart and the two remaining sensing elements are placed adjacent to the carotid arteries; the sensing elements then measure sounds from each of the three sensing elements, resulting in sound from three channels. The sound is measured in analog and modified to digital format and then each of the three channels are analyzed before a power spectral density analysis is performed. The power spectral density graph reveals peaks that are not due to noise, that are then analyzed to provide for a calculation of percent stenosis or complete occlusion of the carotid artery.
