Abstract:
A rotary disc filter device includes a rotary drum and one or more disc-shaped filter members secured about the drum. Each disc-shaped filter member includes a filter and a filter support comprising a series of modules. The modules each include a base that is secured to the rotary drum and a support arm projecting outwardly from the base. The modules are interconnected and disposed around the rotary drum.

A rotary disc filter device includes a rotary drum and one or more disc-shaped filter members secured about the drum. Each disc-shaped filter member includes a filter disposed on opposite sides thereof and each disc-shaped filter member includes a modular frame made up, in part at least, by a series of interconnected modules. One module of the modular filter frame includes a base that is secured to the rotary drum and a support projecting outwardly from the base. A series of these modules are interconnected to form a modular filter frame.

Abstract:
In a first aspect, the invention relates to an edge-carrying drill body (1) of the type that is intended for deep hole drilling, and which is rotatable around a geometric axis (C) as well as comprises a through channel (2) arranged for internal chip evacuation, which channel mouths in front and rear ends of the body. Characteristic of the invention is that one or more cutting edges (4) are made integrally with the rest of the body, more precisely from a hard material, such as cemented carbide or CERMET. In a second aspect, the invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of such a drill body. In a third aspect, the invention furthermore relates to a drilling tool for deep hole drilling.

Abstract:
A support pad intended for metal machining drills and of the type that includes an outer surface, an inner surface, front and rear end surfaces, as well as a pair of spaced-apart side surfaces, between the outer surface and at least the front end surface a convexly arched entering surface being formed that extends between, on one hand, a pair of front and rear borderlines, the rear one of which borders the outer surface, and, on the other hand, two tangentially spaced-apart side borderlines. The rear borderline of the entering surface has the shape of a convex arc line as viewed in planar view toward the outer surface, more precisely an arc line the crest of which is facing forward. In such a way, the position of the contact of the support pad with a hole wall can be predetermined in an exact way. The drill body may be equipped with one or more support pads.
Abstract:
A rotary disk filter and a module for building a filter support for a rotary disk filter are disclosed. The rotary disk filter may comprise a drum, which is rotatable about its central longitudinal axis. The rotary disk filter may be adapted to receive a liquid which is to be filtered. In one implementation, the rotary disk filter may comprise at least one disk-shaped filter member which on the outside of the drum extends outwards in the transverse direction of the drum, and which has a filter support and at least one filter portion supported thereby. A first liquid duct may extend from the drum through the filter member and out through the filter portion. The filter portion may be made of filter segments, which are detachably secured to the filter support. At least one second liquid duct may extend between adjoining filter segments to provide liquid communication between the filter segments. The module may comprise two inner support portions and two outer support portions for at least partial enclosure of two adjoining filter segments, and an intermediate support portion adapted to be arranged between the two adjoining filter segments.

Abstract:
A rotatable tool for chip removing machining, including a basic body having front and rear ends between which a first center axis (C1) extends, with which an envelope surface is concentric and around which the basic body is rotatable; and a loose top that includes front and rear ends between which a second center axis (C2) extends with which an envelope surface is concentric. The front end of the basic body includes a jaw which is delimited by two torque-transferring drivers and an intermediate bottom in which a rear coupling part of the loose top is receivable, and a center hole that mouths in the intermediate bottom. The center hole has a hole wall which extends axially inside the basic body and in which a threaded hole being concentric with a third center axis (C3) mouths for a screw to co-operate with a centric pin which protrudes axially rearward from the coupling part. The centric pin is insertable into the center hole, and the threaded hole is accessible from the outside of the basic body. The coupling part of the loose top includes a pair of axial contact surfaces which cooperate with a pair of axial support surfaces on the drivers of the basic body for the transfer of positive axial forces between the coupling part and the drivers. The coupling part of the loose top includes a pair of side contact surfaces which cooperate with a pair of side support surfaces on the drivers of the basic body for the transfer of torque and negative axial forces between the coupling part and the drivers. The pair of side contact surfaces define two laterally projecting male members arranged to engage two corresponding seats defined by the pair of side support surfaces of the drivers in an axially locking position. The pin of the loose top includes a surface for turning the pin and the loose top by cooperation with the screw.
