Abstract: Implementations of a method of modeling a flow of resources may include generating a stage resource database when the resources reach one or more stages from one or more supply nodes. The method may also include using a mass balance module to maintain an outflow less than or equal to a supply at the one or more supply nodes and an inflow greater than or equal to demand at the one or more stages. The method may include enforcing movement of resources to or from one or more supply nodes of the supply chain to the one or more stages. The method may include using a non-negativity constraint module to maintain a non-negative amount to be transported. The method may also include using a flow generation module and one or more constraint thresholds to report to a user the flow of the resources using one or more computer interfaces.

Abstract: Runtime task scheduling using imitation learning (IL) for heterogenous many-core systems is provided. Domain-specific systems-on-chip (DSSoCs) are recognized as a key approach to narrow down the performance and energy-efficiency gap between custom hardware accelerators and programmable processors. Reaching the full potential of these architectures depends critically on optimally scheduling the applications to available resources at runtime. Existing optimization-based techniques cannot achieve this objective at runtime due to the combinatorial nature of the task scheduling problem. In an exemplary aspect described herein, scheduling is posed as a classification problem, and embodiments propose a hierarchical IL-based scheduler that learns from an Oracle to maximize the performance of multiple domain-specific applications. Extensive evaluations show that the proposed IL-based scheduler approximates an offline Oracle policy with more than 99% accuracy for performance- and energy-based optimization objectives. Furthermore, it achieves almost identical performance to the Oracle with a low runtime overhead and high adaptivity.

Abstract: The present invention provides a sustained drug release system comprising IL-2 and anti-IL-2 incorporated into a thermosensitive hydrogel that is engineered to be in liquid form at low temperatures for delivery, but form a hydrogel at physiological body temperatures to act as a sustained release platform. The thermostable hydrogel solution slowly releases IL-2 and anti-IL-2 to provide optimal concentrations for effective treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Abstract: Hierarchical and lightweight imitation learning (IL) for power management of embedded systems-on-chip (SoCs), also referred to herein as HiLITE, is provided. Modern SoCs use dynamic power management (DPM) techniques to improve energy efficiency. However, existing techniques are unable to efficiently adapt the mntime decisions considering multiple objectives (e.g., energy and real-time requirements) simultaneously on heterogeneous platforms. To address this need, embodiments described herein propose HiLITE, a hierarchical IL framework that maximizes energy efficiency while satisfying soft real-time constraints on embedded SoCs. This approach first trains DPM policies using IL; then, it applies a regression policy at runtime to minimize deadline misses. HiLITE improves the energy-delay product by 40% on average, and reduces deadline misses by up to 76%, compared to state-of-the-art approaches. In addition, the trained policies not only achieve high accuracy, but also have negligible prediction time overhead and small memory footprint.

Abstract: A user-space emulation framework for heterogeneous system-on-chip (SoC) design is provided. Embodiments described herein propose a portable, Linux-based emulation framework to provide an ecosystem for hardware-software co-design of heterogenous SoCs (e.g., domain-specific SoCs (DSSoCs)) and enable their rapid evaluation during the pre-silicon design phase. This framework holistically targets three key challenges of heterogeneous SoC design: accelerator integration, resource management, and application development. These challenges are addressed via a flexible and lightweight user-space runtime environment that enables easy integration of new accelerators, scheduling heuristics, and user applications, and the utility of each is illustrated through various case studies. A prototype compilation toolchain is introduced that enables automatic mapping of unlabeled C code to heterogeneous SoC platforms. Taken together, this environment offers a unique ecosystem to rapidly perform functional verification and obtain performance and utilization estimates that help accelerate convergence towards a final heterogeneous SoC design.

Abstract: Methods for the storage and retrieval of a digital file are disclosed. The file is encrypted with a random binary key. A mathematical CRP mechanism is used to generate an ordered list of responses from a list of challenges. A subset of responses within the ordered list of responses is selected, which each selected response occupying a position in the ordered list that is the same position as a first binary symbol in the random key. In this way, the key can be encoded in the selection of responses. To recover the key, the selected responses are compared to a full list of responses to determine which of the responses in the full list match selected responses. Matches indicate the first binary symbol in the corresponding position in the key and non-matches indicate the second binary symbol. In this way, the key is reconstructed, and file may be decrypted.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for detection of anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPAs) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Patient samples known or suspected of containing ACPAs were probed against citrullinated proteins, and antibody responses to 190 citrullinated proteins in 20 RA patients were investigated. Unique antibody reactivity patterns in both clinical anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide assay positive (CCP+) and negative (CCP−) RA patients were observed. At individual antigen levels, six novel antibody/antigen complexes were discovered and validated against specific citrullinated antigens (Myelin Basic Protein (MBP), osteopontin (SPP1), flap endonuclease (FEN1), insulin like growth factor binding protein 6 (IGFBP6), insulin like growth factor I (IGF1) and stanniocalcin-2 (STC2)) in RA patients. Identification of immune-dominant epitope(s) for citrullinated MBP was also performed. The identified biomarkers have high specificity, especially MBP.
