摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining, from a user device, a master-slave agreement and a first network configuration for a federated blockchain network, transmitting to a cloud service provider (CSP) node the first network configuration, generating first credentials, and transmitting the first credentials to the CSP node. The CSP node configures a first group of blockchain nodes according to the first network configuration and the first credentials. Further embodiments include transmitting the first credentials to a public server that sends it to a public blockchain node and an indication to generate a portion of the federated blockchain network. The public blockchain node configures a second group of blockchain nodes according to a second network configuration based on a public blockchain smart contract. The federated blockchain network comprises the first group of blockchain nodes and the second group of blockchain nodes. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: The technologies described herein are generally directed to providing radio resources to facilitate a predicted transition to active mode by idle user equipment in a fifth generation (5G) network or other next generation networks. An example method can include predicting that a user equipment of a group of user equipment in an idle mode will transition to an active mode after passage of a time duration, starting from the predicting, that is lower than a time threshold. The method can further include identifying base station equipment that is able to provide coverage to the user equipment during the passage of the time duration before the user equipment transitions to the active mode. Further, the method can include prioritizing allocation of, within the group of user equipment, an antenna resource of the base station equipment to provide the coverage to facilitate an active mode connection by the user equipment to the base station equipment.

An example method can include, facilitating receiving, a message from a user equipment, with the message including signal information describing detection of a signal of a carrier of base station equipment while the user equipment was in an idle mode at a first location. The method can further include identifying a second location of the base station equipment corresponding to a time when the signal was transmitted, wherein the second location is different from the first location. Further, the method can include based on the first location, the second location, and the signal information, estimating a path loss of the carrier at the first location.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system receives biometric data indicating a condition of a patient, and executes a blockchain application; the blockchain application facilitates communication between the processing system and a peer node associated with a distributed ledger, and the peer node comprises a smart contract for analyzing the biometric data. The processing system analyzes, in accordance with the smart contract, the biometric data to assess the condition of the patient; the analyzing includes comparing a value of a health metric in the biometric data with an expected value. The method further includes generating a notice regarding the condition of the patient, directed to at least one of the patient, a caregiver for the patient, or a physician. The method also includes accessing the distributed ledger to provide an update regarding the condition of the patient. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: An improved technique for acoustic sensing involves, in one embodiment, launching into a medium, a plurality of groups of pulse-modulated electromagnetic-waves. The frequency of electromagnetic waves in a pulse within a group differs from the frequency of the electromagnetic waves in another pulse within the group. The energy scattered by the medium is detected and, in one embodiment, may be used to determine a characteristic of the environment of the medium. For example, if the medium is a buried optical fiber into which light pulses have been launched in accordance with the invention, the presence of acoustic waves within the region of the buried fiber can be detected.
