摘要: In a communications system including a base station capable of altering a frequency bandwidth which is used for transmitting broadcast data for providing point-to-multipoint broadcasting communications service and which is used for transmitting individual communications data for providing point-to-point individual communications service, and a mobile terminal capable of altering a receivable bandwidth which is used for receiving at least the broadcast data and the individual communications data transmitted from the base station, decision processing of making a decision as to whether the mobile terminal can receive reception-desired content it desires to receive among contents provided by the broadcasting communications service is executed in accordance with a frequency occupying bandwidth used for transmitting the reception-desired content. Thus, the mobile terminal becomes able to make a decision as to whether it can receive particular E-MBMS content considering its own UE position.

摘要: An identification-information extracting unit extracts first identification information of a location registration area of a wireless communication system. A storage unit stores correspondence information concerning a relationship between the first identification information and second identification information of a location registration area managed by a communication network system. A location-registration requesting unit transmits location-registration request information for requesting a location registering device to perform a new location registration when the second identification information is updated by a movement of a mobile terminal.

摘要: An inspection method is provided for accurate measurement of conductive materials as defects within a silicon oxide film base material embedded in a SOI wafer sample. In the method, the internal state of a sample 2 is inspected by measuring an conductive material within an insulating base material 11 formed upon the sample 2. Ions or electrons are irradiated upon the surface of the inspection region of the base material 11. A surface image is imaged with secondary electrons emitted from the surface 11a and the vicinity of the surface. The inspection region is etched and a surface image is imaged successively with secondary electrons emitted from a surface 11b and from its vicinity, renewed successively at the etched depth. The conductive material within the base material 11 is measured based upon the accumulated surface images.

摘要: An inductor array used for an electronic circuit. The inductor array has two magnetic sections, each of which contains a plurality of inductor elements, and an insulating section which is disposed between the magnetic sections. The insulating section inhibits crosstalk between the inductor elements in one magnetic section and those in the other magnetic section. Further, by making the insulating section of a dielectric material and providing capacitor elements in the insulating section, an LC composite array can be obtained.

摘要: An inductor suitable for use as a noise filter and a method for manufacturing the inductor. The inductor comprises a combination of a U-like-shaped lead wire comprising a head and a pair of legs bent from both ends thereof and extending opposite to each other with tubular magnetic material cores insertably fixed to both the legs respectively, the lead wire forming between one ends of the magnetic material cores and the head exposed portions where parts of the lead wire are exposed, and at the legs at the other end sides of the cores arcuate portions which absorb impact applied to the lead wire respectively. The manufacturing method for the inductor comprises the processes of inserting the magnetic material cores onto both legs of the lead wire, forming the arcuate portions at both the legs at the free end sides thereof respectively, dipping the lead wire into a liquid adhesive keeping the head of lead wire below, and taking-up the lead wire out of the liquid adhesive to dispose the cores to be retained by the arcuate portions and dry and cure the liquid adhesive to fix the cores to both the legs, the processes being carried out in the order; and forms the exposed portions at the legs between the head and the magnetic material cores, and arcuate portions at the legs at the free end sides thereof adjacent to the cores.

摘要: A catalytic converter includes a cylindrical casing employing multiple catalytic elements. The elements are cushioned on each end and about their periphery. The elements are also held in place by end set plates and a set plate in the middle extending transversely in the cylindrical casing. The set plate in the middle is free to move and adjust within the converter to eliminate excessive stress on the catalytic elements.
