Abstract:
Ammunition cartridge comprising a rigid casing including a tubular sleeve and a base closing an end of the casing, a projectile mounted at another end of the casing, a propellant charge contained inside the casing, and an ignition device. The ignition device comprises an ignition charge arranged to ignite the propellant charge at a point of ignition distal from the base and proximal the projectile.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing cases, in which a case sleeve is formed from thin sheets, forming at least one element over an insert, a form or a cavity reproducing the conicity, the shoulder and the mouth that are characteristic of the case. The invention also relates to a product produced by the method, such as an ammunition case.
Abstract:
A towel dispenser is provided with a pivoting unit into which a winding roller driven by way of a friction drive is mounted in an easily suspensible manner. An additional loop, which is tightened by a compensator roller in a direction +p, is formed in the dispenser in front of the winding roller, and when clean towel is pulled down a portion of used towel (T′) is used to form the rear part of a loop of cloth (T; T′) used in the front part. Changing used cloth (T′) and loading with clean towel (T) is performed by rotating the pivoting unit, can be carried out in a very simple manner and is completed by opening or closing the cover of the dispenser. A path- and time-dependent control of the towel delivery is integrated in the dispenser.
Abstract:
The forked or wishbone boom or spreader gaff has two individual booms. Each boom has two sections which are telescopically fitted into each other. An arresting device is provided to lock the two respective boom sections in an adjustable position. Accordingly, the length of a given forked boom is adjustable to the cut of various sails of sailboards.
Abstract:
A process and a device for dispensing portions of a continuous strip of towel provides that the strip of material is guided from a clean area into a used area at the back of the apparatus. The position or height of a corresponding partition between the areas may be controlled. The stock of clean strip of material is preferably monitored and when it is spent, the remaining strip of material is drawn in a defined manner, preventing the towel from being accidentally reused. In one embodiment, the strip of material is folded in both areas and is thus easy and hygienic to handle. A system with cassettes that may be exchanged as a whole is also disclosed.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for the stabilizing of the direction of travel of watercraft. The invention relates specifically to a sword or fin for sailboards. In order to allow the wind-profile like shape of the apparatus to adjust itself in accordance with a prevailing velocity of flow or a prevailing flow thereagainst, the apparatus comprises two deformable side walls which are mounted to a rigid and stiff center wall exclusively at an area located at the leading edge thereof in relation to the direction of flow. These side walls enclose together with the two oppositely arranged surfaces of the center wall two void spaces. Depending on the prevailing pressure situations between the luff side and the leeward side, an optimal hydrodynamic flow profile is automatically generated. According to preferred embodiments, the trailing edge of the apparatus comprises vacuum pumps which communicate with the void spaces, which vacuum pumps are present in form of water jet pumps. This allows additionally a controlling of the profile corresponding and in dependence from the velocity of flow.
