摘要： A controller in a wireless communication system includes a transceiver to receive channel activity reports from a first node and a plurality of second nodes that are connected to the first node. The first node supports wireless communication over one or more first channels of a licensed frequency band and second channels of an unlicensed frequency band. The second node supports wireless communication over the second channels of the unlicensed frequency band. The controller also includes a processor to allocate a subset of the second channels to the first node and the plurality of second nodes based on the channel activity reports.

摘要： A base station provides, a first number of probe packets to an access point for transmission to a user equipment over an access network path. The base station receives information indicating a bandwidth of the access network path estimated by the user equipment. The base station determines which of the base station or the access point to use for communication with the user equipment based on the bandwidth. The user equipment receives a second number of packets over an air interface and determines inter-arrival packet delays for the second number of probe packets. The user equipment estimates the bandwidth of the air interface based on the inter-arrival packet delays, the first number, and a time interval for transmission of the first number of probe packets. The user equipment transmits information indicating the bandwidth.

摘要： Systems and methods for preventing web services from using sensitive data in customizing web pages for a user. In one embodiment, a protection system is implemented between the user and the web service. The protection system identifies past interactions of the user with the web service, identifies text in the past interactions between the user and the web service, and identifies subjects discussed in the text. The protection system then communicates with the user to determine which of the subjects are sensitive to the user, and deletes a history stored by the web service for the user that relates to the sensitive subjects.
