Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for determining the likelihood of a user's attendance at an event. For example, the systems and methods can be used to determine that a particular user is attending, is planning to attend, has already attended, or is about to attend a particular event, such as a movie, concert, tour, etc. Further, upon determining that a user is attending, has already attended, or is about to attend an event, systems and methods can be used to serve to a device, associated with the user, content that is related to the event. For example, the content may include invites that invite the user to provide a review of the event and to join a discussion about the event. Further, for example, the content may include links to websites that provide reviews and other information about the event, provide information about related events, or that offer related items for sale.
Abstract:
A facility for specifying and previewing changes to a web site is described. Sets of changes to a web site are scheduled for release at a specified time. While the changes are being specified using a tool/interface, methods for showing the change as it will appear on the live web site are implemented. Inconsistencies between specified changes and changes in future releases may be identified as the changes are specified. Web page preview functionality is provided to allow any release to be viewed before publication to a live web site. The preview further allows inconsistencies between selected changes and changes in other future releases to be identified.

Abstract:
A method and system for generating notifications of auctions based on user notification requests. In one embodiment, the notification system receives from users selection specifications that specify the types of auctions for which the user is to be notified. The selection specifications may include a category of the auctions, keywords for identifying auctions, and values for attributes associated with the category. When the notification system receives a selection specification, it determines whether that selection specification is the same as or nearly the same as other selection specifications that have been received. The notification system periodically determines whether any new auctions satisfy a selection specification by submitting a query to an auction database and then notifies the users when new auctions are identified. The notification may include a list of auctions that is sorted based on access patterns of users who are presented with lists of auctions using selection specifications with similar category, attribute, or keyword values.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a recombinant nucleic acid, characterized in that it comprises:a nucleotide sequence encoding (coding sequence) the normal CFTR protein,an epitope sequence located at the 3' end of the abovementioned coding sequence,a strong promoter sequence capable of controlling the expression of the abovementioned coding sequence and epitope sequence, when they are integrated into a determined cell.
Abstract:
A facility for rendering a dynamic electronic document is described. The dynamic electronic document has both a current and a future edition. The current edition incorporates a current version of a content item, while the future edition incorporates a future version of the content item. The facility receives a request to return the dynamic electronic document. In response to the request, the facility retrieves a template for the electronic document that contains a single identifier that identifies a group of content item versions containing both the current version of the content item and the future version of the content item. The facility uses the single identifier contained in the template, together with an indication of whether the current edition of the dynamic electronic document or the future version is being requested by the received request, to incorporate the appropriate version of the content item in the rendered dynamic electronic document.
