Abstract:
Systems and methods for determining physical coding block orientation, and using that orientation to generate computer code based on that orientation. An exemplary method executed by a system can include: capturing, via at least one camera, an image, the image comprising a picture of a programming surface with at least two coding blocks located on the programming surface. The system can then identify an orientation of the at least two coding blocks based on the image, and identify at least one tactile symbol of each coding block within the at least two coding blocks based on the image, resulting in detected tactile symbols. The system can then generate computer programming code based on the orientation and the detected tactile symbols.
Abstract:
Systems, devices, and methods for software development or modification. The disclosed technology relates to transforming interactions with physical blocks by a human developer on an activity surface into computer-understandable digital information or logic for developing or modifying software (e.g., websites or mobile applications) in real-time or near real-time. The physical blocks are representative of software elements used in software development. For example, the structures, colors, shapes or hardness/softness/squeeze/bend/flex/elastic/shape-memory/rigid properties, whether symmetrical or asymmetrical, whether open-shaped or close-shaped of the physical blocks can determine which software elements are being developed and the arrangement of the blocks can be mapped to how the software elements are to be included in the software. Users located remotely from the developer can provide annotations or feedback to the software being developed in real-time.
Abstract:
A decoy mounting method, system, and apparatus comprises a decoy platform, a mount connected to the decoy platform, and a pole connected to the decoy platform by the mount. The decoy platform comprises a first stand wing, a second stand wing, and a connecting member connecting the first stand wing and the second stand wing. In an embodiment each of the first stand wing and the second stand wing further comprise a bottom section, a sloped wall section, and an upper section. In an embodiment, a motion creating assembly is configured to impart motion on a decoy mounted in the stand system.
Abstract:
A spacer formed of an intermetallic compound, such as nitinol. The spacer includes at least two segments shaped in opposing arches. The unique properties of the intermetallic compound enable the material to be deformed into a planar, insertable shape when the material is cooled below a transition temperature and returns to the undeformed shape when the material returns to an ambient, operational temperature. An expansion mechanism assembly engages with the spacer to apply an expansion force, extending the spacer longitudinally drawing the spacer into the planar configuration. The expansion mechanism assembly can be used to guide the spacer into the desired position within the patient. The spacer control mechanism assembly is subsequently removed, relieving the expansion force, returning the spacer to the natural un-deformed, arched shape as it returns to body temperature. Retention features can be integrated in the spacer to aid in retaining the spacer in location.

Abstract:
The instant invention describes a surgical tool for providing cavitations, or void spots, within the interior of body regions. The surgical tool is constructed and arranged to penetrate almost all interior body regions in which formation of a cavity or void space is necessary for diagnostic or treatment purposes. The surgical tool comprises an insertable member receiving structure sized and shaped to receive one or more insertable devices. The interior lumen of the insertable member receiving structure allows the insertable device to slide and/or rotate relative to the insertable member receiving structure and vice versa. At least one insertable member is a cavity forming device which has a plurality of cavity forming members constructed and arranged with spring-like characteristics for traversing between a cavity forming position and a non-cavity forming position. Upon traversal back to the cavity forming position, the displacement members retain their cavity forming structural configurations.
Abstract:
A method for optimizing traffic flow through a web network including collecting data corresponding to the content elements, determining a revenue value for each content element, calculating an overall content value for each content element based on the corresponding revenue value and revenue generated from subsequent flow of a user during a visit to the network, and modifying the network based on the overall content value and the content data, so as to maximize the value of the network. Also disclosed is a system for determining overall content values for a plurality of content elements including an analytic server for receiving content data corresponding to the content elements, and a processor determining a revenue value for each element and calculating an overall content value for each content element based on the corresponding revenue value and revenue generated from subsequent traffic flow of a user during a visit to the network.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing information to a plurality of users based on the relevancy of the information to the users are disclosed. An incoming message is received. Similarity scores are generated indicating similarities of the incoming message to features of a plurality of messages. Relevancy scores are generated for the plurality of users, the relevancy scores indicating relevancies of the incoming message to the plurality of users based on the similarity scores and a plurality of user profiles including information descriptive of the plurality of users' preferences for the features of the plurality of users. Message information derived from the incoming message, the relevancy scores, and the plurality of user profiles is delivered to at least some of the plurality of users.
