    摘要： Disclosed is an adjustable and partially removable calcaneal restraint system and treatment method in the context of a first phase of surgery wherein a transverse calcaneal pin is inserted through the calcaneus and the calcaneal restraint system is then installed pending the second surgery. An aspect of the calcaneal restraint system also provides a partially removable framework to allow better or unimpeded access to the desired site for the second surgery stage of the treatment.
