摘要： A container includes a pallet base having a rectangular deck and support portions extending downward from an underside of the deck and a channel extending into an upper surface of the deck along edges of the deck. A sidewall defines a corrugated rectangular wall having four sides and setting into the channel in the pallet. Magnets are embedded into two sections of the sidewall to attract and retain the sections together. A cover fits over the sidewall. Alignment portions are formed in the channel and complementary alignment portions are formed in the bottom of the sidewall for aligning the sidewall with the pallet base. The pallet base includes intersecting strap receiving portions formed in an underside of the pallet base and the cover includes intersecting strap receiving portions formed on a top portion of the cover. The sidewall may be a see through material to provide for viewing contents from outside the container. The sidewall has two elements joined together along complementary vertical edge elements with recessed magnets pulling the edges together.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a container, with a support stand, for bulk material. The method includes the steps of, by extrusion blow molding, forming a vessel having a bottom wall having flash integral therewith and extending therefrom to lie in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the bottom wall, side walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall and oriented such that when the side walls are substantially vertical, the bottom wall being at an angle to the horizontal, an upper wall connected to the side walls, and a support for maintaining the container in a substantially upright position. The support is formed from the flash and includes a first foot and a second foot. In forming the support, the second foot is removed from the flash so as to leave a portion of the flash defining the first foot. The second foot is then removably engaged with the first foot so as to lie in a plane perpendicular to the first foot.

The container comprises a bottom wall with side walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall and oriented such that when the side walls are substantially vertical, the bottom wall is at an angle to the horizontal. An upper wall is connected to the side walls, the upper wall having an opening defined therethrough to enable the container to be filled or emptied. A support for holding the container in a substantially upright position is provided. The support includes a first foot integrally formed with the bottom wall and extending therefrom to lie in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the bottom wall, and a second foot removably attached to the first foot in a first configuration, and detachably engagable with the first foot in a second configuration different from the first configuration to lie in a plane perpendicular to the first foot.

The upper surface of the planar portion includes recesses formed therein having center islands extending upward even with the supporting surface. The feet include bottoms having a center recess and rim extending around the recess. The rim of the feet extend into the recess on the upper surface when the empty pallets are stacked and the center islands extend into the bottom recess of the foot to provide nesting and to prevent lateral sliding of the pallets.

摘要： A pallet includes a deck and support members extending from an underside of the deck. The deck has alignment recesses as well as lowered portions along both sides of the deck for receiving the feet and runners supporting the deck to achieve nesting when stacked. The support members include two runners with orifices extending there through and aligned to accommodate pallet jacks and forklifts. The orifices have straps extending underneath the orifices to provide structural support while allowing for insertion of pallet jacks and their wheels. The pallet has feet between the runners and spaced so that the underside of the deck is unobstructed in the area intermediate the orifices providing for four way insertion of pallet jack support units. The pallet has alignment sections machined into the sides of the pallet to provide for precise alignment with pallet handling equipment.

摘要： A container system includes interchangeable components to form an enclosed container. A base in the form of a pallet, a sidewall and a cover are assembled to form an enclosed container. The containers include nesting portions on the pallet and cover so that containers may be stacked when assembled and the components may also be stacked when in storage and nest to resist lateral sliding. The sidewalls include a first embodiment with single wall construction and a second embodiment with double wall construction. The walls are a corrugated plastic construction and include spaced apart reinforcing rods extending into the flutes. The double wall sidewall includes an inner wall with vertically extending flutes having reinforcing rods inserted into spaced apart ones of the flutes while the outer wall has horizontally extending flutes with one or more reinforcing rods inserted therein to provide added strength. The two versions of the sidewall are interchangeable and nest into receiving channels formed in the cover and the pallet.
