摘要: A container comprises a substantially rigid outer container and a readily deformable inner bag, wherein the outer container and the inner bag consist of different thermoplastic plastic materials such that the outer container and the inner bag do not undergo a weld connection with one another, with a container opening and at least one pressure balancing opening in the wall of the outer container for balancing the pressure in the gap between the outer container and the inner bag when the inner bag contracts, wherein integrated into the layer of the inner bag, which is directed towards the outer container, and/or into the layer of the outer container, which is directed towards the inner bag, are microbodies, of a material which does not melt during the manufacture of the container, which produce irregularities on the surface of the layer(s) in which microbodies are imbedded.

摘要: It is proposed a process for fastening an accessory to the interior of a blow-molded tank, the tank having a plastic wall produced from a parison, the accessory comprising a body having at least one attaching portion projecting radially from the body. The process comprises the steps of: a) introducing the accessory and the parison in a molten state into a mold so that the accessory is surrounded by the parison, the mold comprising cavities, at least one cavity being equipped with at least one movable insert configured to fold locally some of the molten parison on the attaching portion; b) contacting the parison with the attaching portion; c) moving forward the insert and folding locally some of the molten parison on the attaching portion; d) closing the mold by moving the mold cavities to a final closing position and inflating the parison to form the blow-molded tank; e) moving backwards the insert; and f) opening the mold.

摘要: A method of connecting a component to a molded article may include disposing a component adjacent to a wall of the article being molded, overlapping a portion of the component with a portion of the wall of the article being molded while the wall is still at least partially molten, and permitting the wall of the article being molded to cool with said portion of the component still overlapped by the wall. Preferably, a portion of the component is overlapped on two sides by the wall of the article being molded to firmly retain the component relative to the article after the article is formed. The article may be a receptacle, or any other object, as desired.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments include a unitary pool filter tank and/or an underdrain for a pool filter unit. Embodiments of the unitary pool filter tank can have an integrally formed housing and base. The filter tank can be formed using a blow molding process in which the base of the filter tank is reinforced using multiple polymer layers that have been folded and/or pinched together. Embodiments of the underdrain can be formed by interlocking top and bottom components. The top and bottom components can be interlocked by inter-component locking structures.

摘要: A method and apparatus for blow molding an article wherein a parison is positioned between substantially opposed mold closures. The opposed mold closures and at least one other mold closure are advanced, wherein the at least one other mold closure is advanced into abutment with at least one of another of the substantially opposed mold closures, and another of the at least one other mold closure. Thereafter, a gas may be injected within the interior of the parison to form a molded article, the mold closures retracted along their respective axes, and the molded article removed.
