摘要： A cable connector assembly for outdoor connection to transceivers. Electrical connection between a component of the cable connector assembly and a connector inside an electronic assembly to which the cable connector assembly is attached is made through a force generated by a biasing member within the cable connector assembly. The biasing member may generate the force as the cable connector assembly is attached to an adapter. Once the cable connector assembly is disengaged from the adapter, the force is released, allowing easy removal of the cable connector assembly, without the need to release a latch. In an environmentally sealed connector in which access to a release mechanism may be restricted, such a structure provides ease of use for either electrical or optical connectors. For optical cable connector assemblies, the optical cable connector may be coupled to a transceiver such that biasing force generated within the cable connector assembly holds the transceiver in a mating relationship with a connector within an electronic assembly but can be easily removed.

摘要： A network content service apparatus includes a set of compute elements adapted to perform a set of network services; and a switching fabric coupling compute elements in said set of compute elements. The set of network services includes firewall protection, Network Address Translation, Internet Protocol forwarding, bandwidth management, Secure Sockets Layer operations, Web caching, Web switching, and virtual private networking. Code operable on the compute elements enables the network services, and the compute elements are provided on blades which further include at least one input/output port.

摘要： Repair assemblies and methods for a jet pump diffuser in a nuclear reactor are described. In one particular embodiment, the diffuser has a substantially conical shape, and the larger diameter end of the diffuser is engaged to a shroud support plate of the reactor. The diffuser further has at least a first portion and a second portion welded together at a weld joint. The assembly, in one embodiment, includes a first c-ring having a first frusto-conical portion and a second substantially planar portion, and a second c-ring having a first frusto-conical portion and a second substantially planar portion. The first and second c-rings are configured, in the one embodiment, so that when the first and second c-rings are operatively positioned, first and second openings in the first c-ring are substantially aligned with first and second openings in the second c-ring, respectively.

摘要： An apparatus for reinforcing weakened portions of the top guide assembly in a boiling water reactor. The repair apparatus includes a cruciform lattice segment which reinforces the damaged or weakened region of the top guide beam lattice. This cruciform lattice segment is held in place atop the existing top guide with specially designed straps. The cruciform lattice segment and associated straps are arranged so that a beam segment of the cruciform lattice segment bridges the weakened region in the cracked top guide. Thus, the bridging beam segment transmits loads across the weakened region of the top guide. The straps are designed to avoid interference with removal and installation of the fuel assemblies and the control rod blade which is inserted between the fuel assemblies.

摘要： An architecture for controlling a multiprocessing system to provide at least one network service to subscriber data packets transmitted in the system using a plurality of compute elements, comprising a management compute element including service set-up information for at least one service and at least one processing compute element applying said at least one network service to said data packets and communicating service set-up information with the management compute element in order to perform service specific operations on data packets. In a further embodiment, a method of controlling a processing system including a plurality of processors is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of operating at least one of said processors as a control authority providing service provisioning information for a subscriber; and operating a set of processors as a service specific compute element responsive to the control authority, receiving provisioning information from the subscriber and performing service specific instructions on data packets to provide IP content services.
