    摘要: The pattern scanning projection device for copying machines of the type in which a pattern is projected in a strip-like manner on an image recording support by means of a pattern scanning unit which is movable in guiding grooves and includes a plurality of scanning lens plates. The lens plates for the sake of uniform projection of partial images cooperate with aperture and/or image field diaphragms and with separating diaphragms. The lens plates are individually insertable into an objective housing which is detachable from the copying machine. The housing is assembled of two parts, one housing part being provided with mounting longitudinal grooves engaging one longitudinal edge of respective lens plates and the lens plates being centered in the longitudinal grooves by separate centering grooves and being secured in central position at one point only so as to permit longitudinal displacement due to mechanical or thermal stresses. The other longitudinal edges of the plates are covered by the other housing part which is preferably made of a plastic material. The entrance and the discharge ports of the objective housing are hermetically sealed by glass panes.

    摘要: Relative movement is effected between the original and the projection system of the copying machine, and the latter projects images of successive transverse strip-shaped sections of the original onto the recording medium. The projection system comprises a plurality of lens-row systems. Each lens-row system includes a first lens row which receives light from a strip-shaped section of the original and projects into an intermediate image plane, and a second lens row which receives light from the intermediate image plane and projects that light onto the recording medium. The lens-row systems are spaced apart in a direction transverse to the direction of elongation of the individual lens rows. The light passing through each lens-row system includes a plurality of central rays, each passing through the optical center of one lens element of the first lens row and through the optical center of the corresponding lens element of the second lens row. Optical deflecting structure is utilized to cause the central rays of the plural lens-row systems to converge both in the vicinity of the original and in the vicinity of the recording medium. Thus, when the plural lens-row systems image onto the recording medium a particular strip-shaped section of the original, this section is being imaged onto the recording medium by all lens-row systems simultaneously, not successively.

    摘要: A copying-machine projection system successively projects successive strip-shaped zones of an original onto successive strip-shaped zones of a photosensitive surface. The projection system is of the type comprising at least one row of component projection objectives extending transverse to the direction of relative movement as between projection system and photosensitive surface. The individual component projection objectives are constituted by corresponding lenticular elements of plural lens bars, the lens bars extending transverse to the relative-movement direction and being provided with respective rows of lenticular elements. The projection system projects a strip-shaped image onto the photosensitive surface but also forms an intermediate image plane. Located at the latter is a lens-aperture plate, the lens apertures of which are so shaped that the adjoining boundaries of adjoining lens apertures extend at an angle relative to the direction perpendicular to the relative-movement direction, this angle being at most equal to 80.degree.. As a result of this inclination, if the individual light fields projected improperly overlap, improperly overlap more or less than they nominally should, or fail to contact each other, the resultant boost or decrease in illumination is not confined to a longitudinally extending stripe which would be visible in the final copy but instead is averaged out over a surface area whose breadth, measured perpendicular to the relative-movement direction is substantially greater than the breadth of the excessive or absent overlap.
