    摘要: The invention relates to a method for separating proteins from liquid media, comprising providing a liquid medium containing proteins, providing a clay material which has: a specific surface greater than 150 m2/g, a pore volume greater than 0.35 ml/g, an ion exchange capacity greater than 40 meq/100 g, and a sediment volume in water of less than 15 ml/2 g, equilibrating said clay material to a pH of from 3.5 to 9.0, treating said liquid medium with the equilibrated clay material, and separating the purified, protein-depleted liquid medium from the clay material.
