摘要: A stencil printing apparatus for wrapping a master around an outer circumferential surface of a plate cylinder to perform printing, the stencil printing apparatus being capable of preventing the occurrence of abnormal images or afterimage phenomenon which causes confidential information leakage, without increasing cost or causing any problems. This stencil printing apparatus has time measuring means for measuring a leaving time during which the apparatus is left stand, and when a plate discharge command is output before the leaving time exceeds a first predetermined time while the master is wrapped around the outer circumferential surface, the stencil printing apparatus is shifted to a standby state after the master is discharged from the outer circumferential surface.

摘要: Disclosed is a duplex printer which is capable of performing simplex printing without wasting a master and providing a print output with a satisfactory image quality at the time of duplex printing, and which is capable of suppressing an increase in installation space while effecting adjustment on the print image position in the sheet conveyance direction. The duplex printer includes a printing section, a sheet feeding section, a sheet discharging section, an auxiliary tray, refeeding means for refeeding a sheet having an image printed on its front side, and a path selector that steers the sheet to one of the auxiliary tray and the sheet discharging section. In a duplex printing mode, a master having first and second perforated images formed thereon side by side is wound around a print drum, thereby performing duplex printing. The position of each print image with respect to the sheet in the sheet conveyance direction is adjusted by changing the timing with which the sheet is fed from the sheet feeding section to the printing section, and the timing with which the sheet is refed from the refeeding means to the printing section.

摘要: An internal cover that covers a unit inside an image forming apparatus is provided. The internal cover includes: a cover portion openable and closable by rotation on a rotation shaft; a hinge portion that forms the rotation shaft of the cover portion, where the rotation shaft is inclined with respect to a vertical direction of the image forming apparatus to allow the cover portion to be opened diagonally upward; and a hand-cranked fixing screw that maintains the cover portion in a closed state. The cover portion is opened diagonally upward as the hand-cranked fixing screw is released, and the cover portion is fixable in an opened state at a predetermined position.

摘要: A stencil printer or similar printer and an ink viscosity sensing device therefor are disclosed. The viscosity of ink which is the root cause of the degradation of image equality ascribable to, e.g., temperature and down time is directly sensed. The viscosity is combined with other information including a set print speed and the kind of the ink in order to effect delicate print pressure control matching the actual conditions of the printer. Stable image quality with a minimum of fluctuation is achievable against the varying environment and without resorting to complicated control pattern tables or a number of sensors.
