    摘要: A latch (2) for holding a gate (4) closed with a fence (6), the latch comprising a bar assembly (10) disposed on the gate (4). The bar assembly (10) comprises a bar member (58) which is attractable by a magnet (20). An engagement assembly (8) is disposed on the-fence (6) and is adapted to engage the bar member (58). The engagement assembly (8) comprises an elongate member (12) comprising the magnet (20). The elongate member (12) is movable between an attraction position in which attraction between the magnet (20) and the bar member (58) is adapted to cause movement of the bar member (58) into engagement with the engagement assembly (8) when the gate (4) is closed, thereby holding the gate (4) closed, and a release position in which attraction between the magnet (20) and the bar member (58) is reduced compared with the attraction position, enabling disengagement of the bar member (58) from the engagement assembly (8) when the gate (4) is closed.

    摘要: Disclosed is a self-latching gate latch device. The device comprises a latch and a magnet assembly housing. The latch assembly housing, secured to a hinged gate, comprises a slidable horizontal latch bar, attractable by a magnet. The magnet assembly housing comprises a slidable vertical magnet bar secured with a magnet at the bottom thereof. In a lock position of the magnet bar, the latch bar engages the magnet. The magnet assembly housing further comprises a locking member that, in an engagement position, engages the magnet bar to the magnet assembly housing preventing the magnet bar from any upward movement. Within the magnet bar is disposed a lock bar, which when depressed, frees the magnet bar.

    摘要: A hydraulic hinge disclosed here is attached to a gate to prevent an impact due to a quick opening and quick closing of the gate. The hydraulic hinge comprises a first hinge member and second hinge member, and a hydraulic damper. The first hinge member is defined by a cylindrical body comprising a longitudinal axis about which the second hinge member is rotatable to rotate the hydraulic hinge between an open position and a closed position. The hydraulic damper is positioned within a cavity of the cylindrical body, and comprises a shaft positioned within a housing, and a hydraulic fluid filled in a space defined between the shaft and the housing. The hydraulic damper is in communication with the second hinge member, to provide resistance against slamming of the gate when the shaft is internally rotated through the hydraulic fluid during a quick opening and quick closing of the gate.

The device comprises a latch and a magnet bar housing assembly wherein, the latch assembly comprises a horizontal latch bar that is horizontally movable between a forward latch bar engagement position and a backward default latch bar disengagement position and wherein, the magnet assembly comprises a magnet bar that is vertically movable between a default downward magnet bar engagement position and an upward magnet bar disengagement position. The bottom end of the magnet bar is secured with a magnet. When the magnet bar is in the default position thereof, the attraction force between the magnet and the latch bar causes the latch bar to move to the latch bar engagement position at which point, the latch bar engages the magnet assembly. A twist knob that operates a guide and track mechanism is provided wherein, twisting and lifting the twist knob causes the magnet bar to move to the magnet bar disengagement position, which, in turn, causes the latch bar to move to its default position.
