    摘要： A latch assembly comprises a backplate, a lock lever, and a latch member. The lock lever is operable by a user to unlock the latch assembly such that the latch member is free to rotate relative to the backplate and allow a gate to be opened. The lock lever is attached to the backplate and is free to move relative to the backplate for operation of the latch assembly. The latch member is attached to the backplate and is free to move relative to the backplate while the latch assembly is in an unlocked configuration, but is prohibited from to moving relative to the backplate by the lock lever while the latch assembly is in a locked configuration.

The lock system comprises a striker assembly mounted to the door, the striker assembly comprising a horizontal striker rod, a pivoting arm, the free end of which is perpendicularly attached with the striker rod, and a striker housing for housing the pivoting arm therewithin, the striker housing comprising a position hole for the striker rod to extend therethrough as the pivoting arm is received therewithin, the position hole to restrict the pivoting movement of the striker rod between a upward striker position to a downward striker position wherein, the various positions between the upward and downward striker positions accommodate various variations of door sag. The receiver assembly comprises a horizontal striker groove for, as the door is closed, retainably receiving the striker rod therewithin.

    摘要： The hands-free door opener assembly permits a person to open, close and lock a door by employing a forearm or elbow. The system comprises respective push handle members disposed on both the interior and exterior surfaces of the door. Pushing either handle member functions to pivot a latch out of engagement with a latch plate positioned in the door frame. A door opening spring-biased plate is mounted on the latch plate to provide an assist to open the door when the latch is disengaged. The door is provided with a hands-free locking structure on the interior surface. An occupancy alert is disposed on the exterior surface of the door.
