    摘要: A modular lighting assembly uses LED banks as the light sources. The assembly allows the power supply and LED banks to be independently replaced. The assembly uses a power supply that is separated from the LED banks and electrically connected to the LED banks with a plug connector that may be unplugged and plugged back in to allow the power supply or LED bank to be independently and readily replaced. The assembly provides for easy replacement of the different components of the assembly. One feature that makes the components easier to replace is that the light modules and/or the power supply may be carried by the housing that is removable from the base mount that is secured to a mounting structure such as a wall or ceiling.

    摘要: A messenger wire hanger includes a body having integral first, middle, and hook portions. The hook portion is in the shape of a hook adapted to hook over a messenger wire. The body defines a first opening between the first portion and the middle portion and a second opening between the middle portion and the hook portion. A lashing strap has a first portion and a second portion with the first portion of the lashing strap being disposed in the first opening of the body and the second portion of the lashing strap being disposed in the second opening of the body. Another configuration uses three openings with a second pawl extending between the second and third openings to define a tortuous path for the lashing strap.

Some configurations mount the light fixture with a mounting bracket that allows for the removal and replacement of the light fixture in about the same time as a traditional light bulb change. Some configurations use a battery backup system and self-check methods with LED light fixtures configured for public transportation applications.

    摘要: A lockable storage case includes a top cover pivotably coupled to a bottom cover through a spine. The top cover includes loops or an upper lock receiving member and a lower lock receiving member defining a top cover lock insertion path. The bottom cover includes loops or an upper lock receiving member and a lower lock receiving member defining a bottom cover lock insertion path. The lower lock receiving members of both the top and bottom covers include hooks for receiving and maintaining a latch. When the top cover is closed on the bottom cover, the top and bottom cover insertion paths combine to form a combined lock insertion path. A lock for the storage case includes first and second catch mechanisms with first and second catches. To lock the storage case, the lock is inserted into the combined lock insertion path so that the catches on the lock mate with and are retained with the hooks in the top and bottom covers.

    摘要: A light fixture usable in train tunnels provides normal mode downlighting for track and walkway lighting and a selective task lighting mode where higher-lumen lighting is provided in at least the same downlighting direction as the track and walkway lighting. The normal lighting illumination level is at least 0.25 to 2.00 foot-candles at the illuminated surfaces. The task lighting mode provides at least 5.00 foot-candles to the same illuminated surfaces. The task lighting mode is achieved with the same light source that provides the normal mode lighting or with additional light sources that are activated together with or instead of the normal lighting mode light sources. The light sources can be a plurality light emitting diode (LED) engines that include a plurality of LEDs. The task lighting mode can also use another light source to provide additional task lighting up from the fixture.

    摘要: A light fixture and wireway assembly is provided in a low-profile configuration wherein at least a portion of a plurality of wireways are disposed in a stacked configuration with a low-profile, edge-lit LED light engine. In one configuration, at least portions of two to four individual wireways are disposed in a stacked configuration with a low-profile, edge-lit LED light engine powered by an LED power supply also disposed within the outer perimeter of the overall assembly. Each wireway can be accessed through a single wireway wall without requiring conduit outside of the outer perimeter of the assembly.
