    Abstract: A pneumatic valve arrangement is specified, including a valve island having at least two solenoid valves, and at least two process valves, the process valves each including a working piston which delimits a pressure chamber, the solenoid valves being each set up to open or close a flow path from a pressure source to an associated process valve to apply a working medium on the pressure chamber of the associated process valve to open and/or close the process valve. Each process valve comprises a position measuring system which is set up to continuously detect an open position of the process valve. The valve island includes a control unit which is communicatively connected to the position measuring systems of the at least two process valves via one single digital communication interface arranged on the valve island.

    Abstract: A pneumatically controlled valve unit is specified, having a main valve for controlling a fluid flow of a fluid to be dosed. The valve unit has a piston shiftably mounted in a valve chamber, operating against a return device, and connected to a valve closing body of the main valve to open and close the main valve. The piston delimits a pressure chamber within the valve chamber such that the piston can be shifted against the return device by pressurizing the pressure chamber, wherein a position sensor is provided which is set up to detect the position of the piston in the valve chamber. One respective pressure line leads from the pressure chamber to a pressure fluid port and a ventilation port, wherein an aeration valve is arranged in one pressure line and a ventilation valve is arranged in the further pressure line, and wherein a control unit is provided which is set up to switch the aeration valve and the ventilation valve on the basis of the position of the piston detected by the position sensor to regulate a pressure in the pressure chamber for shifting the piston. Furthermore, a valve system comprising at least one valve unit, and a method of operating the valve unit are specified.

    Abstract: A fluid measuring device for determining at least one characteristic property of a fluid includes a measuring tube having a fluid duct and a measuring section in which an area of a measuring tube wall is configured as a waveguide for surface acoustic waves which forms an interface to the fluid. At least two piezoelectric transducers are arranged in direct contact with an outer surface of the waveguide and one of which serves as a transmitter for exciting acoustic waves and at least one as a receiver for receiving acoustic waves. Acoustic waves excited by the transmitter can propagate as a volume wave through the fluid, and the piezoelectric transducers are configured to be elastically flexible while retaining their function in that the piezoelectric transducers have strip-shaped piezoelectric elements arranged parallel to each other, are rigid per se and between which a respective layer of an elastic material is arranged.

    Abstract: A method of diagnosing a valve is described, which has an electrodynamic actuator, which includes a magnet arrangement for generating a magnetic field and a control element which is movable relative to the magnet arrangement and is coupled to a movably arranged coil. At least one electrical variable of the electrodynamic actuator is measured over a measurement period to detect a time course of the electrical variable.     Abstract: A diaphragm control valve includes a diaphragm valve and a valve control. The diaphragm valve includes a valve housing having a flow channel, a diaphragm, and an actuator. The valve control comprises an actuating element. The valve control comprises a correction element and provides a plurality of predefined correction characteristic lines. The valve control is arranged such that a user can select one of the correction characteristic lines, and the correction element along with the selected correction characteristic line determines a corrected position set value from a preset position set value. The actuating element is configured to determine a manipulated variable from the corrected position set value and to control the actuator using the manipulated variable such that the diaphragm control valve has a predetermined diaphragm control valve characteristic line.
