Abstract:
One or more small-scale maps are generated automatically and directly from a single large-scale map or database. A subset of geographic features to be represented in the small-scale map is selected based on the scaling law. The geographic features in the subset are determined based on topological connectivity, size, bend size or point density characterizing the geographic features, so the subset includes the larger or more connected or with higher density among the geographic features.
Abstract:
Based on information associated with users, a social networking system recommends one or more groups for a target user to join or to create. Characteristics of the target user, characteristics of users connected to the target user, characteristics of candidate groups in the social networking system may be used to identify groups for recommendation. The social networking system may provide questions to the target user and recommend a group to the target user based on received answers to the questions. For example, the answers to the provided question identify one or more characteristics of the target user, which are used to select a group for recommendation. Additionally, the social networking system may recommend additional users for the target user to add or invite to a group based on characteristics of the target user, the additional users, and/or the group.

Abstract:
An adaptive transmission scheme of the channel environment in the multi-antenna wireless transmission system can raise the spectrum use rate and power efficiency of the communication system. Compared with traditional single antenna input and single antenna output, the channel environment in MIMO wireless communication system is more complex. When the terminal is moving, the different types of channels between terminal and base station can be gone through and then its capacity can be changed more largely. Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to systems that transmit high speed data by way of a plurality of transmitting and/or receiving antennae, and particularly to a transmission scheme in different channel environments in a multi-antenna wireless transmission system.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device includes a audio player, a speaker, a fixing member and an engaging opening. The audio player is configured for playing audio files and videos. The speaker is detachably couple to the audio player. The fixing member is connected to one of the audio player and the speaker. The engaging opening is defined in the other of the audio player and the speaker. The engaging portion is detachably engaged in the engaging opening.
Abstract:
A loudspeaker module includes a hollow main body, two rotatable connecting portions, and two loudspeakers. The hollow main body includes two opposite sidewalls. Each of the opposite sidewall defines a first opening, an inner sidewall of the first opening defines an annular rotating slot. One end of the connecting portion extends an annular flange shaped corresponding to the rotating slot. The two rotatable connecting portions are respectively rotatably connected to the main body via the flange rotating about the rotating slot. Two loudspeakers are disposed in an end of the corresponding rotatable connecting portion away from the main body.
Abstract:
A bass reflex type speaker is disclosed. The bass reflex type speaker includes an enclosure, two speakers, and a bass reflex tube. The enclosure includes a main portion and two protruding portions protruding from the main portion. The main portion defines a sound cavity therein. The protruding portion defines a sound path therein communicating with the sound cavity. The two speakers are connected to the corresponding protruding portion to close the sound path. One end of the bass reflex tube is fixed in the enclosure, and the other end of the bass reflex tube extends out of the enclosure.
