Abstract:
A pointing device is communicated with a computer system for controlling movement of a cursor shown on a display screen of the computer system. The pointing device includes a housing and a scroll wheel assembly. The housing has an opening therein. The scroll wheel assembly is positioned within the opening of the housing and a portion thereof protrudes away from the outer surface of the housing. The scroll wheel assembly includes a rotatable member, a soft member covering the rotatable member, and a sensing member arranged between the rotatable member and the soft member. The sensing member is actuated in response to deformation of the soft member when a lateral force is applied on the soft member, thereby controlling lateral movement of the cursor.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dye laser including a highly porous, consolidated silica sol-gel monolith having incorporated therein at least one laser dye, wherein the dye laser is substantially solvent free. The dye laser is prepared by immersing a highly porous, consolidated silica sol-gel monolith in a solution of at least one laser dye and at least one solvent until the solution enters the pores of the monolith to a significant degree to form an impregnated silica sol-gel monolith, and then drying the impregnated silica sol-gel monolith to vaporize substantially all the solvent present within the pores of the monolith.
Abstract:
A MRI guided high-intensity focused ultrasonic therapeutic system comprises: a MRI apparatus and a high-intensity focused ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus. Said MRI apparatus includes the first treatment bed and said high-intensity focused ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus includes an ultrasound transducer and a moving and positioning means, which drives said transducer to move in respective directions. Wherein, said moving and positioning means is placed outside of the bore of the MRI apparatus during treatment and a supporting rod, which can extend into the bore of the MRI apparatus, is connected to said moving and positioning means at one end and is connected to said ultrasound transducer at the other end. In the system provided by the present invention, said ultrasound transducer can move in multiple orientations, freely move without any limitation of space under the treatment bed, brings less interference to the MRI apparatus, fully exerts the function and efficiency of the MRI apparatus and achieves the best therapeutic effects.
Abstract:
An ultrasonic therapeutic device and an ultrasonic therapeutic system including the ultrasonic therapeutic device and guided by an imaging device are provided. The ultrasonic therapeutic device includes an ultrasonic therapeutic applicator that comprises an ultrasonic transducer, a box which contains the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator and the couplant liquid, a moving unit which extends through the wall of the box and connects the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator, and compensating units which set on opposing sides of and incorporate with the box and holds the level of the liquid when the moving unit drives the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator to move. Stabilization of the liquid level in the box consequently decreases the interference to imaging results of an imaging device due to the level changing of the couplant liquid and improves the diagnostic accuracy of the imaging device.
Abstract:
An ultrasonic therapeutic means and an ultrasonic therapeutic system including the ultrasonic therapeutic means and guided by an imaging device are provided. The ultrasonic therapeutic means includes an ultrasonic therapeutic applicator (5) that comprises an ultrasonic transducer, a box (3) which contains the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator (5) and the couplant liquid, a moving unit (1) which drills through the wall of the box and connects the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator (5), and compensating units (2, 6) which set on the box (3) and holds the level of the liquid when the moving unit (1) drives the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator (5) to move. The compensating units (2, 6) are set on both sides of the box and incorporate with the box, and the moving unit (1) drills through both of the compensating units (2, 6). An ultrasonic therapeutic system including said ultrasonic therapeutic means and guided by an image device is provided. The ultrasonic therapeutic system of the present invention eliminates the phenomena of the level changing of the couplant liquid caused by the moving of the ultrasonic therapeutic applicator driven by the moving unit in the prior art, keeps the stabilization of the liquid level in the box, consequently decreases the interference to imaging results of an imaging device due to the level changing of the couplant liquid, and improves the diagnostic accuracy of the imaging device.
Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of ultrasound therapy, and relates to a swing type high-intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic apparatus and an MRI guided high-intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic system having such a swing type apparatus. The swing type high-intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic apparatus comprises an ultrasound transducer and a moving-locating mechanism thereof, wherein said moving-locating mechanism adopts a swing mechanism which is connected to the ultrasound transducer by a supporting rod. The MRI guided therapeutic system comprises this swing type therapeutic apparatus. In the present invention, the ultrasound transducer moves freely in multiple dimensions and the moving-locating mechanism adopts a swing mechanism, so the interference generated by the MRI guided high-intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic system on the MRI apparatus is quite small and thereby the quality of the ultrasound image obtained is good.
