    摘要: A graphical user interface is used for tracking the operation of emergency call systems at different properties, each having a plurality of residences and an emergency call system for each property. The graphical user interface includes a report window and at least one statistical report contained within the report window and comprising one of at least a summary of emergency calls in a time, a chart displaying the number of alarms and time of day, a chart displaying an alarm type, and a chart displaying an average response time based on time of day. An emergency call system is also disclosed and includes an internet module operative with one of at least a wireless, direct connect or telephone subsystem for forwarding alarm data over the internet to be accessed by a client computer, such as operated by a manager. The internet module could be connected to a data bus and bus controller as part of the system.

    摘要: An emergency call system includes at least one wireless receiver located at a property having a plurality of residences for receiving wireless alarm signals from resident wireless devices and reset signals from attendant wireless devices, such as pendants. The wireless device module is operatively connected to the at least one wireless receiver for determining identity of respective resident devices and determining the response time in which an attendant has responded to an alarm signal from the resident device and which the attendant resets the alarm. The “staff reset” pendant contains a unique code identifying which staff pendant was used for a reset.

    摘要: A fall arrest harness comprises a pair of shoulder straps, a pair of leg straps and a rear section extending therebetween, a lanyard connection member being connected to a sternal or chest region of the shoulder straps, the rear section defining a seat portion, adapted to lie across the sub-pelvic region or seat of the wearer, and a back portion, adapted to overlie at least a portion of the back of the wearer, the shoulder straps extending between side regions of the seat portion, preferably adjacent a lower edge thereof, and an upper region of the back portion, whereby the wearer, when suspended in the harness by the lanyard connection member, lies in a supine position with the weight of the wearer supported by the seat portion and back portion of the rear section and the shoulder straps with no load being borne by the leg straps.

    摘要: An emergency call system includes a data bus and bus controller operatively connected to the data bus for controlling data access on the data bus. The system can include at least one of wireless, direct connect and telephone subsystems. A wireless device module could be operatively connected to the data bus for receiving and passing alarm signals onto the data bus from a premises based wireless subsystem having at least one wireless receiver that receives wireless alarm signals from wireless pendants and other devices. The system could also include a direct connect module that receives and passes alarm signals onto the data bus from a premises based direct connect subsystem having wired stations and/or sensors. A telephone module could be operatively connected to the data bus for receiving alarm signals from a telephone of a residence through the telephone network and to the telephone module.

    摘要: An electronic circuit protection device includes a first receiving capable of receiving a first connector. The device also includes two pair of resilient contact arms electrically coupled to the first receiving portion. The contact arms are capable of receiving a second connector. The device electronically couples the first connector to the second connector when the first connector and the second connector are inserted into the device. The device provides protection from electrostatic discharge by providing an electrically conductive path to ground, which bypasses components, which may be harmed by resultant potentially harmful currents. In one embodiment, the device is compliant with PCMCIA and JEIDA standards.
