    摘要: A ventilation fan includes a scroll formed to define an interior space, an inlet opening into the interior space, and an outlet opening into the interior space and spaced apart from the inlet. A fan wheel is coupled to the scroll within the interior space and includes a plurality of fan blades configured to rotate about a vertical rotation axis to draw air into the interior space to ventilate a room positioned adjacent to the ventilation fan. An inlet collar is coupled to an exterior surface of a bottom wall of the scroll and extends through the inlet. The inlet collar has a upper, distal end located above a lower end of each of the plurality of fan blades when the ventilation fan is installed above or adjacent to a ceiling of the building.

    摘要: A system and method for obtaining environmental data—namely air quality information—from various devices contained within a structure is disclosed herein. The various devices contain sensors that can obtain environmental data, which is then analyzed by the system to determine if any level of a component within the data is outside of a predefined threshold range. If the system determines that the level of the component is outside of the predefined threshold range for that given component, the system will carry out certain steps in order to bring the level within the predetermined threshold range. These steps include selecting the appropriate appliance and the proper operating conditions to most efficiently bring the level back within the predetermined threshold range. Once the system has determined that the level is back within the predetermined threshold range, the system will instruct the selected appliance to turn OFF.

    摘要: A ventilation system with automatic flow balancing derived from a neural network to consistently achieve a desired flow rate for inlet flow and/or outlet flow in various operating environments to optimize system performance. The system includes a ventilation device that includes an exhaust blower assembly with a blower motor and a control circuit having a mathematical equation that determines an estimated exhaust blower flow based upon select inputs. The ventilation device also includes a supply blower assembly with a blower motor and control circuit having a mathematical equation that determines an estimated supply blower flow based upon select inputs. When the estimated exhaust blower flow is different than an exhaust flow set point, the exhaust control circuit selectively alters power supplied to the exhaust motor. When the estimated supply blower flow is different than a supply flow set point, the supply control circuit selectively alters power supplied to the supply motor.
