摘要： A durable, injection moldable, thermoplastic elastomer that has the favorable resilience, feel, spin, barrier, and UV stability performance attributes is disclosed herein. An OBC grafted with silane provides a good cover shear durability (cut/tear/abrasion resistance). This invention combines the benefits of OBCs and silane crosslinking technology to yield a golf ball cover with a desirable combination of properties.

摘要： A fluid filter has a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a filter element in the fluid pathway, and is provided with a by-pass which includes a fluid pressure indicator. The by-pass comprises a cylinder attached to a cover and removable therewith. The cylinder has one aperture which provides fluid communication between the cylinder and the inlet and has another aperture which, when open, provides fluid communication between the cylinder and the outlet and hence provides a fluid pathway between the inlet and outlet which by-passes the filter element. A piston is movable within the cylinder responsively to fluid pressure from a first position where it closes the second aperture to a second position where the second aperture is open. The cylinder can be removed and mounted in a first position which provides both an indicating and a by-pass function or it can be rotated to a second position which provides only an indicating function.

摘要： Flame retardant thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compositions are disclosed having a flame retardant package comprising an organo-phosphinate component, an organo-phosphate component, and a polyhydric alcohol. The flame retardant components may be present in an amount from about 5 to about 40 weight percent of the phosphinate compound; from about 5 to about 20 weight percent of the phosphate compound, and from about 0.1 to about 15 weight percent of the polyhydric alcohol, based on the total weight of the TPU composition. Processes are disclosed to make the TPU compositions and to make wire and cable constructions employing the TPU compositions as the jacket of the wire and cable constructions. The TPU compositions exhibit excellent flame retardant capabilities as measured by Limited Oxygen Index testing and/or UL 94 Vertical Burn tests.
