    Abstract: A node monitoring system, including a plurality of nodes, each of the plurality of nodes registered and connected with a controller to simultaneously receive and return a short poll signal and a long poll signal; and a controller configured to: register an area as an operation zone having a boundary; simultaneously send and receive a short poll signal and a long poll signal to and from each of the plurality of nodes; command at least one of the plurality of nodes to power off in response to a failure to receive the short poll signal from the at least one of the plurality of nodes; alert others of the plurality of nodes that the at least one of the plurality of nodes is operating outside of a spatial boundary.

    Abstract: Systems and methods may process spatial data associated with an object in a travel path of a machine. The systems and methods may determine an elevation of a surface of the travel path within an expected travel area of the machine. The systems and methods may determine a maximum height of the machine relative to the elevation of the surface. The systems and methods may identify spatial data points indicating elevations, associated with the object and relative to the elevation of the surface of the travel path, that satisfy an elevation threshold. The systems and methods may classify the object as a non-obstacle of the machine based on the spatial data points indicating the elevations satisfying the elevation threshold. The systems and methods may maintain the travel path of the machine based on the object being the non-obstacle of the machine.

    Abstract: A door for a work machine includes a first section having a first glass portion and a handrail coupled to the first glass portion. The door also includes a second section having a frame portion and a second glass portion. The door further includes a first latching mechanism movable between a first engaged state and a first disengaged state. In the first engaged state, the first section engages with the second section. In the first disengaged state, the first section is disengaged from the second section. The door includes a second latching mechanism coupled to the second section. The second latching mechanism is movable between a second engaged state and a second disengaged state. In the second engaged state, the second section engages with a frame of an operator cabin of the work machine. In the second disengaged state, the second section is disengaged from the frame of operator cabin.

    Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for a modular resistor grid system include a mount and a plurality of modular resistor grid assemblies that interchangeably couple to the mount. At least two modular resistor grid assemblies are in the plurality. Each has a housing and a plurality of resistor plates. Each housing has input and output terminals. Each plurality of resistor plates is connected between the input and the output terminal of a housing. Each resistor plate has a thickness, and each plurality of resistor plates provides a target electrical resistance for a modular resistor grid assembly. A first modular resistor grid assembly has a first number of resistor plates with a first thickness. A second modular resistor grid assembly has a second number of resistor plates with a second thickness. The first number of resistor plates is greater than the second number. The first thickness is greater than the second thickness.

    Abstract: Provided herein is a system including: a resistor grid electrically coupled to a motor of an electric drive machine; a fan including a plurality of fan blades rotatably coupled to a fan motor; a speed sensor configured to measure a rotational speed of the fan; and a control circuit comprising one or more processors and a memory structured to store instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the control circuit to: determine an active cooling capacity of the fan according to the measured rotational speed of the fan while the fan motor is in an active cooling mode; determine a passive cooling capacity of the fan according to the measured rotational speed of the fan after the fan motor is switched from the active cooling mode to an off mode; control power to the fan motor to provide a target cooling load according to the active cooling capacity of the fan and the passive cooling capacity of the fan.

The controller can predict a point at which the energy storage device will exhibit reduced capability to absorb energy. The controller can provide a control signal to control a secondary braking system to provide braking capability in advance of the predicted point.
