摘要： The scrub-resistant properties of water-based latex paint compositions are readily improved by incorporating into such paint compositions an effective minor amount of an alkoxylate obtained by alkoxylating an alkylation reaction product formed by the acid catalyzed alkylation of a phenolic compound with a benzyl halide, or substituted benzyl halide, the alkoxylate further characterized as containing from about 6 to about 30 alkoxy units per molecule.
