    摘要: A composition and method for preparing it is disclosed. The composition in a blend of a cured fluoroelastomer which except for the cure sites is a perfluorocarbon and a thermoplastic copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene which is present as generally spherical particles having a particle size of less than 10 microns. The composition is prepared by blending the fluoroelastomer and thermoplastic copolymer at a temperature above the melting point of the thermoplastic copolymer followed by curing the fluoroelastomer.

    摘要: A solution for targeting a visual function using varying contrasting areas is provided. An animation including a changing figure can be generated. The changing figure can include contrasting areas having attributes that change substantially continually during the animation. For example, a location of the contrasting areas within the changing figure can be changed to create an appearance of motion of the contrasting areas within the changing figure. The shape attributes can be determined based on a target visual function, a target performance level of the target visual function, and a plurality of display attributes of a display environment for an observer. The animation can be provided for display to the observer, and an indication of whether the observer is able to perceive the changes can be received and used to assess a performance level of the visual function.

    摘要: A solution for evaluating the pupillary responses of a patient is disclosed. The solution includes exposing one eye of a patient to flashes having varying patterns and concurrently recording the pupillary responses of both eyes of the patient to the flash. At least some of the patterns can be configured to stimulate/not stimulate the macula region of the patient's eye. The solution also can include reducing one or more non-visual stimuli experienced by the patient while the pupillary responses are being induced and recorded.
