    Abstract: The power management integrated circuit has a startup circuit, a switch controller and a standby controller. Powered by a power source, the startup circuit provides electric power to an operational power source during a startup period. The switch controller controls a power switch to store or release energy in an energy conversion unit. Powered by the power source, the standby controller receives a standby signal. When the standby signal is asserted, the standby controller disables the startup circuit and the switch controller, thereby startup circuit not providing electric power to the operational power source and the switch controller continuously turning off the power switch.

    Abstract: A SECS communication device and a SECS communication method thereof are presented. The SECS communication device includes a SECS-II message communication part, a translation part, and an information storage device access part, and further includes at least one set of data structure files and a message format file for defining a message content and a message format of a SECS-II message. The translation part decodes the SECS-II message into data in various information storage formats of an information storage device according to the data structure file and the message format file, and encodes the data in various information storage formats of the information storage device into the SECS-II message, so as to enable message exchange between an EAP and the information storage device through the SECS communication device. By applying the SECS communication method, cost of program development is reduced, and meanwhile, high system stability and industrial efficiency are achieved.

    Abstract: An automated access device for lifting and placing back the end cover plates of lead-frame magazine during IC packaging process. It includes: (a) a 3-axis robotic arm a plurality of single-axis robots, adapted to carry out a positioning by horizontal and vertical motions; (b) an end cover plate temporary storage shelf, adapted to temporarily store a plurality of end cover plates removed from the magazine; (c) a guiding mechanism, adapted to provide positioning assistance of the end cover plates; and a gripper mechanism, installed in each the robotic arm. The gripper mechanism includes: (i) a suction disc; (ii) a first driver adapted to drive the suction disc to adhere to the end cover plates (iii) a second driver adapted to adjust the position of the suction disc; and (iii) a fixture cylinder having a first gripper adapted to position and fix the end cover plates to assure correct positioning and prevent the end cover plates from dropping during the motion of the robotic arm.
