The touch panel includes a cover plate, a touch sensing element, and an atomic layer-deposited (ALD) film. The cover plate has a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface. The top surface opposites to the bottom surface and the side surface connects the upper surface with the bottom surface. The touch sensing element is disposed on the bottom surface of the cover plate. The ALD layer completely covers the touch sensing element and completely covers the top surface, the side surface, and a portion of the bottom surface uncovered by the touch sensing element.
