摘要: An electronic module assembly (EMA) for an implantable medical device is disclosed. The EMA comprises a non-conductive block having a top side, a bottom side, a front side and a back side. A plurality of conductive strips are coupled to the non-conductive block. Each conductive strip possesses a front side and a back side. The back side of each conductive strip extends from the front side across the top side and over to back side of the non-conductive block.

摘要: An electronic module assembly (EMA) for an implantable medical device is disclosed. The EMA includes conductive strips connected to a non-conductive block. The non-conductive block possesses, a top side, a bottom side, a front side and a back side. A seamless non-conductive barrier extends from the bottom side and between the front side and the back side. The barrier prevents a pin from contacting another pin and eliminates welding of the ground pin to the side of the ferrule.

摘要: A low noise exhalation port for a respiratory mask has a body including a proximal end operably connected to an internal area of the mask to vent carbon dioxide exhaled by a person from the mask, and a distal end. The venting device vents a gas out of the respiratory mask so as to substantially reduce inhalation by the person of the exhaled carbon dioxide. An exit passage portion is provided at the distal end and extends partially through the body and communicates with an exterior of the mask, the exit passage portion having a substantially regular cross-sectional area. An entrance passage portion is provided at the proximal end and extends partially through the body, the entrance passage portion communicating with an interior of the mask and further communicating with the exit passage portion, the entrance passage portion decreasing in cross-sectional area from the interior of the mask to the exit passage portion.

摘要: An external physiological monitor continuously senses and monitors cardiac function of a patient to allow detection of cardiac events and the recording of data and signals pre- and post-event. The monitor is connected to and suspended on the patient's body solely by the electrode assembly. Stored diagnostic data may be uplinked and evaluated by the patient's physician utilizing a programmer via a two-way telemetry link. An external patient activator may optionally allow the patient, or other care provider to manually activate the recording of diagnostic data.
