摘要: A ventilation arrangement and a ventilation process provide ventilation for a patient. A first segment of a fluid guiding unit connects a fluid delivery unit to a valve (10). A second segment connects the valve (10) to a coupling unit on the patient side. A position of a valve body (19) of the valve (10) relative to a valve body seat (18) depends on an inlet pressure (P2) and on a control pressure (P1) and influences the volume flow (Vol′) through the second segment. An actuator (15) changes the control pressure (P1). A control signal (Sigcon) for the actuator (15) is generated with the objective of ensuring that the pressure or volume flow (Vol′) in the second segment assumes a predetermined value. A compensation signal (Sigcomp) for the actuator (15) is generated with the objective of preventing the valve body (19) from vibrating relative to the valve body seat (18).

摘要: Disclosed herein are novel designs of a nasal cannula device suitable for supplying a flow of respiratory gas to a user during respiratory therapy. In one design, the nasal cannula device includes a cannula body, and a base. The cannula body has a front, top, and rear sides, in which the rear side is substantially longer than the front side and flattens out at both ends in the form of a wing, and a tab extending out from the lower end of the rear side. At least one nasal joint tube extends out from the top side of the cannula body, and a first connecting member is formed on the tab. The base includes, an opening formed on the top of the base; two through holes respectively formed on the left and right ends of the base; and a second connecting member formed on the bottom of the base. The first and second connecting members are configured to engage with each other thereby enclosing the base within a space collectively defined by the front, top, and rear sides, and the tab of the cannula body. In another design, the nasal cannula device includes a cannula body having a tubular body, in which one side of the tubular body is substantially longer than the rest of the tubular body and flattens out at both ends in the form of a wing, and a nasal joint tube extends out from the outer surface of the cannula body.

摘要: A valve with an internal member is disclosed which allows exhaled carbon dioxide to escape from a breathing circuit when the circuit gas pressure drops below a threshold pressure. The valve operates by occluding one or more ports under a relatively high pressure and opening the one or more ports under a relatively low pressure. The internal member is attached to the body of the valve at two or more locations on the internal member. The internal member moves in a direction perpendicular to the gas flow through the valve.

摘要: A blower includes a housing including a proximal opening and a distal opening that are co-axially aligned, a stator component provided to the housing, an impeller positioned between the proximal opening of the housing and the stator component, and a motor adapted to drive the impeller. The impeller includes a plurality of impeller blades. The stator component includes a plurality of air directing grooves along its exterior surface. The leading edge of the air directing grooves extend tangentially outwards from the outer tips of the impeller blades and are configured to collect the air exiting the impeller blades and direct it from a generally tangential direction to a generally radial direction by dividing the air from the impeller and directing the air along a curved path towards the distal opening so that airflow becomes substantially laminar.

摘要: Patient interfaces for respiratory therapy in the form of nasal interfaces or nasal masks include features that enhance or provide lateral stability of the interface. At least some of the embodiments provide multiple facial contact points or areas located in the general areas of the user's cheeks and/or upper lip. Some embodiments of the nasal interfaces provide advantageous sealing characteristics. The nasal interfaces may provide a controlled expiratory flow to reduce noise. Some embodiments include nasal pillows instead of or in addition to nasal prongs. The nasal pillows can have exhaust vents or can change in length in response to a pressure level within the nasal pillow.

摘要: Systems and methods may include a gas source, a gas delivery circuit, and a nasal interface allowing breathing ambient air through the nasal interface. A gas flow path through the nasal interface may have a distal gas flow path opening. A nozzle may be associated with a proximal end of the nasal interface a distance from the distal end gas flow path opening. At least a portion of an entrainment port may be between the nozzle and the distal end gas flow opening. The nozzle may deliver gas into the nasal interface to create a negative pressure area in the gas flow path at the entrainment port. The nasal interface and the nozzle may create a positive pressure area between the entrainment port and the distal end gas flow path opening. Gas from the gas delivery source and air entrained through the entrainment port may increase airway pressure or lung pressure or provide ventilatory support.

摘要: A fluid flow metal sleeve includes a sleeve main body and an elongation portion, which are of a hollow structure as a whole. The sleeve main body is connected to the elongation portion in a threaded manner, and a terminal end of the sleeve main body is connected to an ultrasound scalpel handle and enables an ultrasound scalpel to pass therethrough. The fluid flow metal sleeve can control the direction of fluid flow during incision with the ultrasound scalpel so as to achieve the lubricating and cooling effects on a scalpel head. In addition, due to the use of a metal structure, a user can extend an original holding part from an outer portion of the ultrasound scalpel handle to an outer wall of the metal sleeve as required. The fluid flow metal sleeve also has an adjustable telescopic function so as to be adapted to different application scenarios, and limits the length of extension of the scalpel head so as to limit the depth during incision to improve the safety of surgery.
