A network transmission communicating an item of content is detected by a client device, and a determination is made whether the client device is in a mode of operation that allows the storing of uninvited media content. For example, the client device may be a mobile communication device monitoring the media being transmitted over a broadcast channel. When an item of content is observed traversing the broadcast channel, a set of user-defined preferences is accessed to determine whether to permit receiving the item. If permitted, the item of content is stored in a data store on the client device for subsequent presentation to the user.

The present invention relates to the process for the recovery of conjugated isoflavones of residues and sub-products of food industries based on the use of soy and its derivatives. It also concerns of isoflavones obtained from food composition containing isoflavones and from the fungus genetically modified used in this process, Aspergillus oryzae ATCC 22786 (RIB 430). More specifically, the present invention concerns of a process of conversion of conjugated isoflavones, in the form of isoflavone malonate and acetates, in glucosylated isoflavones, which through fermentative and enzymatic processes are transformed into aglycone isoflavones. The products obtained in this process, pass to show a promising therapeutic as nutritive application as previously described, and may be used as a functional food or as a functional ingredient.

A method for characterizing performance of an error correction scheme for digital data transport is provided. A digital data packet stream within an Internet Protocol packet stream is monitored for a first set of packet errors. Errors of the Internet Protocol packet stream are corrected according to the error correction scheme to produce a corrected Internet Protocol packet stream. The digital data packet stream within the corrected Internet Protocol packet stream is monitored for a second set of packet errors. The first and second sets of packet errors are compared to characterize the performance of the error correction scheme.
