Abstract: [Problem] To generate acoustic profile information using a simple operation and without increasing the cost of a multichannel audio device. [Solution] A wireless recording playback terminal 5 is positioned at a listening point of a multichannel audio device 2 as a measuring microphone. The wireless recording playback terminal 5 records, as channel playback data in accordance with a test signal playback command received from the multichannel audio device 2, a test signal outputted from a speaker 3 that corresponds to the channel designated by the command. The wireless recording playback terminal 5 also plays back the sound source of the test signal and records the played-back sound source as sound source playback data without being outputted to the outside from the speaker. An acoustic profile information generation server 4 compares these playback data to measure the delay time and attenuation rate of the channel playback data with respect to the sound source playback data, generates the acoustic profile information of the designated channel on the basis of the result of this measurement, and sets the generated acoustic profile information to the multichannel audio device 2.

Abstract: A speech to text system includes a text and labels module receiving a text input and providing a text analysis and a label with a phonetic description of the text. A label buffer receives the label from the text and labels module. A parameter generation module accesses the label from the label buffer and generates a speech generation parameter. A parameter buffer receives the parameter from the parameter generation module. An audio generation module receives the text input, the label, and/or the parameter and generates a plurality of audio samples, A scheduler monitors and schedules the text and label module, the parameter generation module, and/or the audio generation module. The parameter generation module is further configured to initialize a voice identifier with a Voice Style Sheet (VSS) parameter, receive an input indicating a modification to the VSS parameter, and modify the VSS parameter according to the modification.

Abstract: [Problem] To improve operator convenience in controlling the ON/OFF states of a plurality of wireless speakers. [Solution] A wireless speaker 1, when instructed through a power button or by a controller 2 to transition to an ON state, causes said wireless speaker 1 itself to transition to an ON state and also transmits a command for ON state transition to each of other wireless speakers 1 belonging to the same group as said wireless speaker 1. When instructed to transition to an OFF state, said wireless speaker 1 transmits a command for OFF state transition to each of the other wireless speakers 1 belonging to the same group as said wireless speaker 1, and also transitions to the OFF state. If an ON state transition command has been received from another wireless speaker 1, then the wireless speaker 1 transitions to the ON state, and if an OFF state transition command has been received, then the wireless speaker 1 transitions to the OFF state.

Abstract: Provided is a technology for supporting solution of a fault that has occurred in a system including an audio-visual device. A solution support program storage unit (7) is configured to store, for each potential fault, a solution support program for supporting a user's job for solving the each fault. At least one of the solution support programs for handling a fault having a plurality of possible causes includes processing for displaying a message for prompting the user to conduct a predetermined job, processing for displaying a question for the user, processing for receiving a user's answer to the question, and processing for displaying a message indicating a solution corresponding to the received answer. Then, a main control unit (9) determines a fault based on the information acquired through an audio-visual signal input interface unit (3) and an audio-visual signal output interface unit (4), and executes the solution support program for handling the determined fault.

Abstract: An AV amplifier contains an input unit to input digital data and an operation unit that receives a reproduction instruction. A switching unit switches whether to output the digital data input to a server interface unit or DSP in response to the reproduction instruction. The DSP processes the digital data output to obtain and output a two-channel signal, which the server interface unit transmits by the switching unit to a server and receives an audio signal from the server. An audio reproduction unit reproduces the server interface unit received audio signal and an audio signal output by the DSP. An output unit outputs the reproduced audio signal to each speaker and a control unit controls the switching unit and the server interface unit in response to the reproduction instruction from the user. The control unit controls the switching unit, when two-channel audio reproduction is instructed from the user.

Abstract: A method for controlling a plurality of media rendering devices in a data network with a controller device in communication with the network is disclosed. A network enabled subwoofer is added to the data network such that the subwoofer is visible on the network to a controller. The controller user interface displays a subwoofer graphical object and a group graphical object representing a group of one or more rendering devices. A user selects the group graphical object via the controller user interface, and the subwoofer is joined with the selected group. An audio channel associated with the group is assigned to the subwoofer. The controller user interface hides the subwoofer graphical object.

Abstract: [Problem] To reduce user's workload when preparing a playlist. [Solution] A playlist preparation terminal 2 carries out face recognition processes on the image data of listeners captured for each room from a room A to a room C, and generates listener information including the atmosphere, age group, and a male-to-female ratio of a listener group made up of the listeners captured in the image data. The playlist preparation terminal 2 then prepares a playlist by selecting music data from among music data belonging to the genre information preliminarily associated with the listener information, and multicasts the playlist together with the designation data for the wireless speakers 1-1 to 1-3 from which to output music. As a result, the playlist preparation terminal 2 allows the wireless speakers 1-1 to 1-3 from which to output the music to reproduce the music data according to the playlist and output the music.

The master fader 27 thus has a width W corresponding to the minimum value and the maximum value of said scale values.
