    摘要: A system and method for conducting threat and hazard vulnerability assessments. The system uses a software program to conduct interviews which determine the appropriate parameters of site surveys for the facilities to be assessed and creates a customized site survey for each facility. The customized site surveys implemented using mobile computing devices that site surveyors use to record the responses to the site survey questions. The survey responses are then analyzed by the system and a vulnerability assessment report and corrective action plan are generated. The system transmits the components of the corrective action to various corrective actors that implement the corrective action plan and report their activities. The system then uses the reports from the corrective actors to determine a facility's continued vulnerability.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method useful for analysis of punctate distribution of supramolecular complexes that are compartmentalized in nuclear microenvironments. In preferred embodiments the method provides quantitative analysis of the assembly of regulatory machinery within the context of nuclear architecture and to provide a mechanistic link with biological control. In other embodiments, the invention provides a method of identifying a molecule by parameters of its subnuclear distribution, comprising the steps of quantifying organizational parameters of domains within subnuclear distributions of a molecule; performing factor analysis on the quantified organizational parameters; performing discriminant analysis on the quantified organizational parameters; comparing the results of the factor analysis and the results of the discriminant analysis to one or more standards, thereby identifying a molecule by parameters of its subnuclear distribution.

    摘要: A pouch for internal mixture of segregated reactants includes an outer containment envelope with a sealed reactant compartment inside. A middle shear strip and two outer strips, together defining two shear lines, are connected to the reactant compartment. The outer strips are folded under the reactant compartment with their tips anchored to the containment envelope. The middle strip extends away from the reactant compartment and through a slit in the containment envelope. Pulling on the middle strip causes the shear lines to lengthen until the reactant compartment is shorn open to release a reactant. A permeable second reactant compartment containing a second reactant may also be disposed inside the containment envelope, and may include a slit through which the middle strip passes. The reaction in the pouch may be exothermic and the pouch may be applied to any object to be heated such as a wet wipes dispenser.

    摘要: Instant self-heating containers include a combinable reactant and activator used to generate an exothermic reaction for heating contents of the container. One instant self-heating container includes a target container, a pierceable activator container and a reaction chamber. Piercing the activator container causes activator to combine with the reactant and cause an exothermic reaction that heats the target container. The container may be used as depilatory wax dispenser. Another instant self-heating container includes an outer housing containing a contents pouch and a reactant, and capped by a lid having an activator chamber. Rupturing the activator chamber allows activator to combine with the reactant in an exothermic reaction to heat the contents pouch. Another instant self-heating container includes a flexible outer tube containing contents to be heated, a flexible reaction vessel, and a frangible activator vessel. Bending the outer tube causes the activator vessel to rupture and cause an exothermic reaction.
