    摘要: An electronic device having a housing with a shroud locator socket. There is a retractable elongate radio frequency radiating element passing through an aperture of the shroud locator socket, the retractable elongate radio frequency radiating element being electrically connected to an electrical circuit located in the housing and being movable from a fully retracted position when substantially located in the housing to a fully extended position when substantially protruding outside the housing. An end cap is located on a free end of the retractable elongate radio frequency radiating element and there is a shroud having transverse ribs that are transverse to a longitudinal axis (X) of the retractable elongate radio frequency radiating element. The shroud covers a protected length (L) of the retractable elongate radio frequency radiating element proximal to the end cap. The shroud extends and tapers away from the end cap towards the shroud locator socket and the shroud operatively engages the shroud locator socket when the retractable elongate radio frequency radiating element is in the fully retracted position.

    摘要: An apparatus (100) for installation and removal of a mobile communication device (102) to and from a bracket (104), such as mounted in a vehicle, is provided. The apparatus (100) includes a handle (120) pivotably coupled (160) to the mobile communication device (102), the handle having first and second lever arms (122, 124). The apparatus (100) further includes a bracket (104) having first and second pivot point pins (130, 132) and a compliant member (144). During installation the handle (120) is pivoted in a first direction such that the first and second lever arms (122, 124) engage the first and second pivot point pins (130, 132), and the handle compresses the mobile communication device (102) into the compliant member (144) for retention. The lever arms (122, 124) disengage the pivot point pins (130, 132) as the handle (120) is pivoted in an opposite direction thereby releasing the mobile communication device (102) from the bracket (104).

Receipt of the hotswap signal at the information handling system results in the driver of the selected information handling system redetecting the display with a communication through the DDC channel and transfer of EDID information from the display to the selected information handling system so that the selected information handling system drives a desired display port, such as by sending display information through a TDMS channel instead of default VGA channel.
