The heel assembly includes a lower heel movable relative to the sole structure and an upper heel movable relative to the sole structure. The actuator assembly is coupled to the heel assembly and configured to move the upper heel relative to the lower heel between a closed position and an open position.

    摘要: A method and apparatus to link user requirements of data sessions to the network conditions provides an application making an advance request corresponding to a data session, which a communication device may immediately acknowledge but will attend to the request at its convenience. The data session setup is based on the actual network conditions which are either sensed by the device or provided by an agent in the network. The method may be overlaid on top of existing wireless handsets using existing technologies. Hence, all the flexibility and configurability associated with data sessions offered by the existing solutions may remain intact with added features for the customer and the operator. In various exemplary embodiments, the method may use a network load measurement capability in the device and/or a network agent.

    摘要: A transceiver with an adaptable filter and a method of controlling the settings of the filter to adapt to local channel assignments and usage are provided. The adaptable filter is connected in at least one of the transmitter path and the receiver path of the transceiver to separate signals from adjacent spectrum blocks to permit use of all of the channels in the adjacent spectrum blocks and to separate signals in adjacent or nearby channels in a shared-channel block. A method and system for forward link control signalling are provided. The forward link control signalling includes a frame for transmission that includes at least one control channel that includes control information for receivers sharing a common characteristic, and a guide channel that includes information pertaining to the at least one control channel, including control information for receivers sharing a common characteristic.

    摘要: A method, system and computer-usable medium are provide for dynamically assigning radio resources (e.g., channels), within a context of a mobile communications network, to heterogeneous nodes such as reconfigurable eNB, Relay Node (RN) and Home eNB (HeNB) and other reconfigurable nodes to improve spectrum utilization. The dynamic assignment of channels for these nodes may be from existing spectrum bands for re-fanning, or from secondary spectrum such as TVWS. Both CA and SON procedures can be extended to enable CR and DSA techniques and improve spectrum utilization. These extensions enable dynamic allocation of fixed, non-legacy component carriers to different nodes within an operator's network, opportunistic use of white space within an operators own licensed bands; and, opportunistic allocation of available channels within TV white space (TVWS) or other dynamically available channels (perhaps in coordination with other operators).

    摘要: Security in wireless communication networks that employ relay stations to facilitate communications between base stations and mobile stations is enhanced. In one embodiment, resource information provided to one or more relay stations from a base station or another relay station is encrypted prior to being delivered to the one or more relay stations. Only authorized relay stations are allocated an appropriate key necessary to decrypt the resource information. As such, only appropriate relay stations are able to access and use the resource information to effect communications directly or indirectly between the base stations and the mobile stations. In certain embodiments, the resource information is delivered between the various base and relay stations using either unicast or multicast delivery techniques.
