    摘要: The invention relates to new compounds of the general formulae (I) and/or (II), ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a C.sub.1-6 alkyl or an aralkyl group, andR.sup.2 is hydrogen or a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group.According to another aspect of the invention there are provided processes for the preparation of these compounds.The compounds of the general formulae (I) and/or (II) are utilizable for the oxymation and/or trimethylsilylation of any substrate bearing an oxo group and/or a silylable polar hydrogen.The compounds of the general formula (VI):(CH.sub.3).sub.3 Si--Y--Z=N--OR.sup.1 (VI)whereinR.sup.1 is as defined aboveY is oxygen, nitrogen or sulphur atom or a carboxylate anion, andZ is the skeleton of the substrate,said compounds being formed in the oxymation and/or trimethylsilylation reaction, are also within the scope of the invention.
