Abstract: A leaf blower having a back pack frame. The frame can support a leaf blower unit on an operator's back with the use of shoulder straps. The frame generally has an L-shape with an intake restrictor ring that can cooperate with an air intake section of a blower mounted to the back pack frame to substantially prevent intrusion of foreign objects into the blower unit and to reduce noise emanating from the blower air intake section.
