    摘要: A toner cartridge horizontally installed in an electrophotographic printer having a photoreceptor drum where an electrostatic latent image is formed by charging and exposure, and contributing to toner supply and development by being fixedly coupled to in the electrophotographic printer. The toner cartridge includes a housing filled with toner of a predetermined color, a development roller rotatably installed on the housing to face the photoreceptor drum and to supply the toner to the photoreceptor drum to develop an image by a difference in electrical potential, a supply roller rotatably installed in the housing in contact with the development roller and to control the toner to adhere to the development roller, and a guide member coupled to the housing to be disposed under the supply roller and to guide supply of the toner. When a diameter of the development roller is D2, the diameter D2 satisfies an inequality that 10.4≦D2≦22.1 mm.

The supporting members are made stationary in predetermined positions of the main body, and a developing nip between the photoconductive drum and the developing roller is controlled as the toner cartridge is moved linearly with respect to the supporting member within a predetermined distance range.

The image forming apparatus includes a main body, a process cartridge unit removably mounted in the main body, an opening provided in the main body to permit the process cartridge unit to be installed or removed, and a cover rotatably mounted to the main body so as to expose or shield the opening. The process cartridge unit includes a container to store a developer and at least one knob coupled to the container. When the cover is closed, the knob is folded by the cover, and when the cover is opened, the knob is unfolded. Accordingly, since the position of the knob is changed, a mounting space of the process cartridge unit can be decreased, and a user can easily grasp the knob.

    摘要: A method for fabricating an STI layer of a semiconductor device is disclosed, to improve the integration of the semiconductor device in a method of increasing a moat area for a gate line by minimizing an isolation area between moat areas, which includes the steps of forming a sacrificial layer on a substrate; forming a moat pattern by coating a photoresist on the sacrificial layer and performing exposure and development process to the coated photoresist with a mask pattern of the STI layer; patterning the sacrificial layer by using the moat pattern as a mask; forming an insulating layer on an entire surface of the substrate including the patterned sacrificial layer after removing the moat pattern; forming insulating layer sidewalls at the side of the sacrificial layer by anisotropically etching the insulating layer; removing the sacrificial layer and forming a silicon layer on the substrate; and planarizing the surface of the silicon layer and the insulating layer sidewalls by CMP.
