    摘要: A method of selectively controlling communication between a supervisory processor and a subscriber is provided. The method includes receiving a stream of data at the supervisory processor, controlling transmission of the stream of data from the supervisory processor to the subscriber based on an associated supervisory processor configuration, receiving an enabling configuration at the supervisory processor which alters the supervisory processor configuration, and transmitting at least a portion of the controlled stream of data from the supervisory processor to the subscriber based on the supervisory processor configuration.

The method includes receiving a stream of data through the narrowband circuit, splitting the stream of data into a plurality of data packets, and transmitting each of the data packets to a predetermined list of sockets through the broadband circuit. The system includes a narrowband network segment communicatively coupled to a broadband network segment, and a data network split/relay device communicatively coupled to the broadband network segment programmed to receive a stream of data from a server communicatively coupled to the narrowband segment.

A method may include replacing at least one legacy main controller processor communicating in a first communication protocol with a current main control processor communicating in a second communication protocol, retaining at least one legacy IO processor in communication with at least one turbine monitoring device communicating in the first communication protocol, and providing at least one converter in communication with the current main controller processor or processors and in communication with the legacy IO processor or processors. The converter may translate communications between the current main controller processor or processors and the legacy IO processor or processors by translating between the second communication protocol and the first communication protocol.
